NB - I'm quite busy today, so I may only be able to maintain this conversation in fits and starts.

I'm good, thanks. We didn't get trick or treated last night, which was good on two counts:

1. Didn't have to deal with horrible brats
2. We now have loads of chocolate in the house for me to eat

This might be a little sick, but I've found it a bit amusing:

Last week I was standing outside the pub with some friends in Soho, and this girl who was obviously a junkie was trick or treating the drinkers standing outside wearing a mask and followed by her kid. She totally gave it away by not making her kid wear a mask and because she begs around there a lot.

Ha ha. The sight of her face not wearing the mask would probably have been scarier. That's an interesting twist on trick-or-treat, making yourself look more human.

I left the lights turned off last night because what little candy there is, is MINE.

anyways, about 9pm there was a knock on the door. these two 15 year old kids were holding their bags out expectantly. no costumes,
not even a mask.

I told them that it was all gone.

luckily, my tires weren't slashed.

whatever happened to trick or treating etiquette???
