Why do most people talk so much rubbish and present it as gold?

Personally I can only think that they do it because they're shit. And I'm not.

I didn't mean people on the internet, for that it isn't voiciferous activity, therefore it's not irritating all that much. I was just wondering.

Airheads always seem to say so much, and mean so little.

The whole 'talking a lot = saying little' thing is not necessarily true. I have a few friends who talk more incessantly than I do, and they talk at you rather than to you, but that doesn't make them any less interesting. It's a tricky one that we've got here.

Some people just say whatever comes into their heads, without any sort of filtering process that decides whether or not it's worth saying. Women tend to do this more than men, in my experience.

And, in response to the question of the thread: Mr Marras, people are not talking rubbish and presenting it as gold - they do genuinely object to your general, unwavering and inxeplicable support for whichever far-right organisation is 'hip' in gay-land this week.
