People who aren't environmentally conscious should

go fuck themselves in the ass.

Someone picked up my empty liter of root beer and threw it in the trash. I reached in and grabbed it and said "that's my recycling."

The person gave me the dirtiest look and said "well I don't recycle" as if it was a crime that I stopped him from throwing away something.

I hate people.

I'm in an environmental coma.

Doctors are giving me three years before they pull the plug.

jon boy 08.26.2007 06:36 AM

someone i lived with once was so environmentally concious they didnt want me to flush the toilet everytime to save water.

I live with people like that too. They prefer a pool of yellow piss instead. Kind of contradictory considering the amount of toilet paper they use each time. I live with girls.

jon boy 08.26.2007 07:15 AM

i do recycle everything and am really concious of the environment but i dont want people telling me how many times i can flush my toilet haha.

it is annoying though when people take on an attititude of not caring, like its someone elses problem.

While I am not enviromentally conscious as I probably should be (I don't throw crap out the window or anything), to look down on somebody like they are inferior because they recycle? That's crazy. Even if I don't really recycle, I think people SHOULD. I'm just lazy.

PAULYBEE2656 08.26.2007 02:22 PM

global warming.. pah!

we have had the worst summer on record. fuckin freezing in july!!!!!

spray more aerosol, throw out more fridges, make that hole bigger.....

...no only joking, i am environmentally aware to a point. i recycle in fact you have to recycle in ireland. we have 2 refuse bins. one waste and one recycling. it is in fact against the law to not recycle... i dont know how the police it but it is!

sellouteater 08.26.2007 02:27 PM

The US should adapt that law but as long as are fucktard president is in office will that wont happen and i doubt clinton would get ne thing done either

macrodollar 08.26.2007 02:39 PM

That's why you need to vote Kucinich

sellouteater 08.26.2007 02:41 PM

the goverment wont let me vote yet

PAULYBEE2656 08.26.2007 02:42 PM

is it 18 or 21 the voting age in the us?

sellouteater 08.26.2007 02:43 PM

its 18
its reasonable enough

Пятхъдесят Шест 08.26.2007 02:44 PM

It's 18, but there has been a giant drop in young voters.

Brings to mind how many "I'm not voting" threads that have polluted this board.

PAULYBEE2656 08.26.2007 02:45 PM

if u dont vote, you cant argue!

PAULYBEE2656 08.26.2007 02:46 PM

its 18 here too but they are arguing to bring it down to 16. i think thats too young, in never gave a shit about that stuff when i was 16, i had better things on my mind, like getting shagged and stoned!

sellouteater 08.26.2007 02:47 PM

why not, argueing and being a annoying bitch seems to get more done than voting

macrodollar 08.26.2007 02:49 PM

I actually spoke on Welsh radio in support of votes at 16, didn't necessarily beleive it but it was the easiest line to take and it gave me a chance to challenge the presenters who said something like "Will it make a difference?".
An interesting point is that many of the arguments against were also used to oppose votes for women.
I voted for the 1st time last year and I actually got to vote for myself, which was awesome.

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 08.26.2007 02:58 PM

The reason that voting is dropped is that many people have little faith that their vote means jack shit. That democratically elected officials aren't the ones in control.

Voters need to regain control of the government. Too bad nobody has the balls to really rally the country to stick it to the man.

macrodollar 08.26.2007 03:28 PM

woah, '90s cynicism overload.
