What IS this thing IDM? I've heard it mentioned a few times.

it's intelligent danse music. it's like techno + noise or something like that.

personally, i prefer mods. they party hard and keep it classy. indie kids have fake fun and stupid t-shirts.

I voted rockers. Me, I'm an indie jazz head. But I like emo and indie chicks.

I will hate any subculture if the people involved are taking it too seriously.

Ban the use of the IDM term. It's a stupid American invention, as usual.

Tough call between Sonny Barger's Mob ("Hell's Angels '69", "Hell's Angels n Wheels", "She-Devils On Wheels" etc) and the love generation ("The Trip", "Psych-Out", "Easy Rider" etc).

Electronica is more of an apt term, even if vaguely. IDM sounds like a retarded term invented by people who are scared of anything that isn't produced with guitars. I have a habit of being right.
