Christian catholic. I do believe in God, but barely go to church.

Danny Himself 05.15.2007 10:40 AM

Quite a few Catholics here..

sarramkrop 05.15.2007 10:52 AM

I am fiercely atheist but i've learned to respect people who have faith in whatever god they believe in from my mum, who's a devoted catholic, but one who is totally lacking any sort of hipocrisy. It helped that we were never forced something like religion by both parents, and in a way it made IT possible for my brothers and sisters to respect her faith and religious customs. Seriosuly, she is one of the most tolerant people i know. My brother told me this story of when the pope died and he observed her silently weeping while watching tv with a jewish lady that she's friends with. At one point he said that they both hugged each other and wept together. I've found that a very powerful image of tolerance between people of different religious backgrounds.

Thats great. I know a few hardcore catholics though, and some can just come on too strong with it. Those types who want to be defined by what religion they are.

floatingslowly 05.15.2007 11:02 AM

since everyone is getting more specific, I will too.

I'm more Lakota-Sioux Ghost Dance vs. the somewhat watery Paiute (no disrespect to Wovoka).
