Sonic Youth Gossip - Saw the SEBADOH reunion...

Best Sebadoh show I've seen since I last saw them w/ eric(i think the 3rd lollapalooza?).

One thing that really makes it all clear now: they were NEVER the same band when he left. Alot of people don't know this, but Sebadoh was more eric's band and lou joined primarily as bassist & co-songwriter (to "play eric's songs" as he says). They were tight, tight, tight! They even did some songs post-eric era that he played live for the first time and he didn't miss a beat.

They looked like they were having a good time, especially Jason & Eric together. They played mostly III and Soul & Fire w/ some songs on Bakesale and a couple on Harmacy.

I really hope he stays with them cuz eric's solo material alone is still better than anything sebadoh's put out last.(this is just my opinion)

Anybody see any of the 2 shows they played this weekend?(troubadour & spaceland)
