Does your cat make any sense at all?

I mean seriously, sometimes my cat is ridiculous. I often think that I taught him to much Amharic, and myself not enough, because I can never make any sense of this asshole I swear.. He is like a datura trip, joyful and yet bitterly confusing.

I have this other cat, I have had for 12 years now, and she is perfect, she knows everything, more than me even.. but this one is new, and now he is full grown big ass cat, and he makes absolutely no sense sometimes..

my cats beg for hugging at all wrong times, when i'm in a hurry. they couldn't care less when i'm relaxed and in a sofa, covered with a huge soft blanket.

floatingslowly 12.04.2008 12:28 PM

my cat worships me.

makes perfect sense.

My cat is cool and intelligent. He knows what is best in life and tries to remind me of it whenever he can. He's never vengeful and always respectful.
And he plays a mean game of fetch...when he feels like it.

barnaclelapse 12.04.2008 01:40 PM

I'm pretty sure our main house cat (we have several who come and go) was at one time a woman who had a curse put on her by a witch or some such thing.

She's just...so damn weird.

StevOK 12.04.2008 03:33 PM

My cat puntured my toe this morning. That's what I get for being as tall as my bed when there's a crazy wildcat hybrid running around in my apartment.

akprodr 12.04.2008 03:44 PM

They're cats. What did you expect?

(says the dog owner)

greedrex 12.04.2008 05:43 PM

nad he not that one either:

Cats meow a lot. That means they're hungry, want attention, or are cold. If they purr, they're happy.

That's all you need to know.

atsonicpark 12.04.2008 08:30 PM

Oh.

Cats are weird then.

yes, that is was my conclusion. In fact, I think I often tell my cat how weird he is and yell "ebd neh!" (Crazy You-Are!)

schizophrenicroom 12.04.2008 09:17 PM

my cat sits on his ass, legs sprawled open, paw cupping his genitals. i'm not kidding.

shentov 12.05.2008 08:29 AM

i have a cat for a month or so, he's absolutely adorable, bu sometimes makes me really confused, like sleeps all day and then when me and my girl go to bed he starts to meow and bang on the door begging for attention at crazy hours, fights like mad with every weird object, etc.
but hey it's a cat! i absolutely love it, and getting it's one of the best decisions i've made recently.
His name is Yoda.

This is a picture of our cat that Carley took this morning:

She's carayyyyzy.

Pookie 12.05.2008 10:03 PM

The cat next door hasn't responded to the regular soakings I've given it to "discourage" it from hanging round our bird feeder.

I'm going to try kicking it from now on.

pbradley 12.05.2008 10:14 PM

Sup guys.

terriblecanyons 12.06.2008 01:12 AM

My cats are psycho.
My oldest that we've had since he was a kitten, now 12, doesn't care about anything or anybody. At all. Sometimes he pretends he does when he wants human food. Otherwise he runs the house.
My biggest fan, who just turned 8, has this odd obsession with me. He follows me around, constantly meowing until I pet the shit out of him. When I'm sleeping I keep the door shut so he doesn't drool on my face.

my cat is a bit loony but in good ways. He barks and clicks at birds but then runs away. He rolls around on the floor on his back for hours in circles . He always tries to get in the bath with me. Etc.

lechaoscestmoi 12.08.2008 09:31 AM

Lucifer Sam, siam cat
Always sitting by your side
Always by your side
That cat's something I can't explain
Ginger, ginger, Jennifer Gentle you're a witch
You're the left side
He's the right side
Oh, no!
That cat's something I can't explain
Lucifer go to sea
Be a hip cat, be a ship's cat
Somewhere, anywhere
That cat's something I can't explain
At night prowling sifting sand
Hiding around on the ground
He'll be found when you're around
That cat's something I can't explain

my cat likes to sit on the bathroom cabinet, pretty high. i never notice him before getting in the shower, when i see him frozen in fear, staring at the running water. most of the time he starts meowing so loud i have to turn the shower off and let him out.

EVOLghost 12.08.2008 03:51 PM

My cat makes perfect sense, he told me wqho to vote for in this past election.

ploesj 12.08.2008 04:08 PM

did he meow it to you?

Of course, a cat speaking english?, that's crazy.

flophousefloozie 12.13.2008 05:32 PM

The other I got in a tiff with my mother, and I was sobbing. My cat jumped on top of the back of the couch and started hugging my head.

Now when I seem slightly distressed while talking on the phone, she's on alert, and will usually start meowing repeatedly and continuously.

flophousefloozie 12.13.2008 05:38 PM

The other day she snuck into the Forbidden Room of Wonders and tried to eat my lilacs.

She will now be forever known as "Buttered Popcorn Kitteh".

Look at that. Yellow powder and 'tude all over that face.
