Firefox, you've never let me down.



My friend swears by Opera. I tell him that the Fox is where it's at.

It's really quiet in here tonight.

The new IE is the biggest firefox clone, it's embarassing.

Really? I've had no end of problems with Firefox. It continually crashes or freezes on me, and it was a huge source of spyware. I've never had a problem with IE. After my spyware catastrophe a few months ago, I switched to IE exclusively and have had no problems.

Gmku, I mean in this in the nicest and most non-condescending way possible when I say: I am almost 99% positive you are 99% alone in thinking that IE has less problems than Firefox.

ffox 3 won't work for me. i installed it, and when i open it, i can only see the address bar on my screen.

Wtf are your guys's OS? VISTA?

xp. the firefox i have right now works perfectly, but whenever i have to upgrade ff it's a nightmare.

Okay. Not sure why it doesn't work well for me. Maybe it just works better for Mac? I don't know. I'm not tech savvy at all. All I know is that it continually gave me problems in performance, regarding connections and so on--I'd switch over to IE and have no problems.

Yeah, who knows. Because of my spyware problem, I had to reinstall everything on my laptop. Not a good time.

Hmm, yeah. I'd almost be convinced to try it again... but I'm s c a r e d.

Originally it crashed with myspace but not any more.

I would go to All Music Guide and as soon as I'd go to an album review page, it would crash. There were other sites that for whatever reason it just couldn't handle for me. Weird.

myspace has this little problem... every single person on there has 403683986 images and applications running at the same time :'(

internet explorer sucks so much ass.

but i use safari. so.

internet explorer just eventually one day STOPPED. literally... STOPPED. it wouldn't load a page, it wouldn't do anything except be completely WHITE. and often you couldn't close it even be going to close. You had to alt ctrl del it; sometimes multiple times.

Actually this happened to me as well. No longer though. It was a problem with Flash player I believe.

windows in general sucks.

Now see firefox did weird stuff like that to me. Wouldn't load a page. Would give me the neverending spinning wheel of death.

Brother Melly's a computer genius, and has been using Linux for 6 years. My brother's got my back on this one :)

I'm on Windows 2000 Professional Edition in English (though I'm french) - ya rly
I mainly use Firefox 3.0, with my fantastic GrayModern 2.0 theme. For one site though, I use IE, and for another one, I use Opera. I guess I'm a bit "psychorigid" but well

I have that Vista shit now.....anybody have any problems with Firefox on Vista??

I don't think all the bugs are worked out yet with compatibility with Vista, but then again, I really don't know.

Yeah, man, it's great. I'm most glad that now I'm able to get stuff from Dime, surf around, and run a buch of other programs at once flawlessly.


I'm prob. going to get Firefox sometime today and try it out.

I've had none so far. I don't mind Vista. In your face, popular opinion.

I was talking to a very techie person recently (I'm only a bit techie) who was talking about an OS emulator machine you can run - so you can try Linux (or whatever) without having the upheaval. Next time I see him I'll get the name of the deely.

I can't help but feel that gmku's problem is a picnic, I'm afraid.
