Do you like shoes?

Another almost meaningless poll.
But anyway how often do you wear yr shoes? I find myself wearing mine all the time, from when i get dressed to when i go to bed. Ive got friends that kick their shoes off during class, and for some reason it bugs me.

Savage Clone 05.29.2006 08:16 PM

I love wearing shoes.
I hate "barefoot on stage" musicians, but make exceptions for drummers.

like krist novelselic(sp?) from nirvana.

krastian 05.29.2006 08:32 PM

I don't wear them in the house.

acousticrock87 05.29.2006 08:34 PM

...What if you're a hippie that wears shoes?

m^a(t)h 05.29.2006 08:35 PM

I find shoes to be boring, so I wear them all the time.

Laila 05.29.2006 08:37 PM

i love shoe shopping, but wearing really cute shoes can be a bitch cause the better they look the more they hurt. i don't wear shoes in my house though. sometimes house shoes but only in the winter.

That's what I was wondering......hmmmm.

umjammer atomsk 05.29.2006 09:04 PM

I had to say most of the time because I take them off and just leave my socks on. I usually change them though if I've been wearing shoes all day. I also sleep in them (socks).

EMMAh 05.29.2006 09:11 PM

I wear shoe's most of the time I guess.
A lot of the time if I leave the house, when I come back I just don't bother taking them off. I'm the one who vacuums haha.
But sometimes I do take them off at the door and I don't ever put them on just for the sake of wearing around the house.

alyasa 05.29.2006 09:23 PM

I wear flip-flops most of the time when i leave the house. Something about the high humidity and warmth of living in a tropical climate doesn't encourage shoes...

atari 2600 05.29.2006 09:26 PM

in school, in life drawing 2, we had this "shoe drawing" project. the instructor had a big box of all kinds of shoes & we had to set them up & draw them. for mine, i used every different type & had them all repeating in lines/ i rendered them all with a dot-dash dribble technique that like Warhol's early commerical work somehwhat. my technique was drawing each shoe on a piece of paper with ink & brush & then monoprinting each one to the big piece of rag paper. i would just retrace over the outline with a fresh coat of ink for each printing... the professor loved it.

EMMAh 05.29.2006 09:28 PM

Do you still have it? I wanna see :D

atari 2600 05.29.2006 09:29 PM

nope, unfortunately...

acousticrock87 05.29.2006 09:41 PM

I can't stand losing art. I sold one painting (a really crappy one, too...), and I still miss it. Never did it again. I can remember every piece I no longer have.

HaydenAsche 05.29.2006 10:04 PM

I have one pair of beat up old vans shoes that I coloured during art class. I only wear them if I'm gonna be somewhere dirty like a bonfire or sonshine.

i wear them most of the time, but not at this hour...

kingcoffee 05.29.2006 11:02 PM

I wear shoes.

samantha. 05.30.2006 01:53 AM

Whenever I leave the house. It doesn't feel right when I'm wearing shoes whilst at home. And it also depends on the weather - if it's hot, thongs are the way to go.

cuetzpalin 05.30.2006 04:54 AM

hippie. in the summer almost not wearing shoes:)

fishmonkey 05.30.2006 05:02 AM

you have no option for "when i'm in work" which is when i wear em. i dont like wearing them but seeing as i have to i always buy a nice pair.

nomadicfollower 05.30.2006 11:24 AM

Most of the time, but it is nice to be barefoot.

acousticrock87 05.30.2006 11:41 AM

For some reason every time I see this thread I read it as "I don't like your shoes." I don't take offence to that, but I wonder what Freud would say about it.

Richard Pryor on Fire 05.30.2006 11:57 AM

The foot is private. Call me a prude. Guys wearing flip flops or sandels really gets my goat, I don't mind so much with girls as long as they are well manicured. I don't know it's just one of my quirks, but why deny the glory of the sneaker and all it can offer, I love my shoes.

I will now show you shoeless tramps some options that could transform you in to a respectable clean footed person.

I admit they are bold, but furious when pulled of correctly.

A twist on a co-opted classic.

I am currently wearing these but they are blue and brown

an
d may I remind you to never wear white socks, unless yr playing sports. But I still jazz it up with some argyle.

!@#$%! 05.30.2006 12:03 PM

i take them off to get in bed.

though a woman in bed wearing high heels and fishnets, or spiky boots, or some other such thing, is ultra hot.

you should try it sometimes.

Trasher02 05.30.2006 12:20 PM

shoes R kewl

EMMAh 05.30.2006 12:43 PM

My dad goes everywhere barefoot in the summer, his feet are like steel.

Glice 05.30.2006 12:59 PM

I wear shoes all the time. Shoes. Not sneakers, pumps, trainers or daps. Shoes. I feel like I'm from Victorian Britain sometimes, but I do have problems trusting people who wear trainers or don't clean their shoes.

I take them off in other people's houses if requested, and will do so wihout being asked in a Muslim house.

atari 2600 05.30.2006 04:13 PM

i usually wear some blue seude vans, a sebago dress pullover type (NO tassels), or timberland boots

vans used to be made in america & now are made in china, sebago still is made in america, & the timberlands are also manufactured in some chinese sweatshop...

i stepped on a nail in my docs & it ruined one of them...they have a lifetime warranty but i never sent them in to be replaced

luxinterior 05.30.2006 04:41 PM

I like the shoes in my avatar.

As for myself, I either wear slip-ons made of cloth (with felt on the bottoms, I should add, to emphasize the classiness of my footwear) or lace-up leather boots.

golden child 05.30.2006 05:06 PM

i would never wear shoes really, esspecially in the summer exept we cant wear sandals at work.

im gonna be getting some birkenstocks soon (or some knockoff) cause i like sandals but im not fond of flip flops, because they are usually cheapy plastic and my feet sweat bad in them plus the thong isnt that confortable. i also have a pair of those velcro type sandals that are nice but sometimes to constricting.

jon boy 05.30.2006 05:09 PM

i do like a nice pair of shoes but generally take them off in the house. i have over 50 pairs of old all stars.

Shit my dad's Muslim, and I never take off my shoes nor did I know that was some kind of custom....maybe that's why he's always looking so dissapointed with me.
