spurs celtics in the finals is my pick. No one can beat the spurs. they play such fundamentally goopd basketball that it takes insane personal effort to defeat them in a best of seven series.

My beloved rockets, who did so well during the regular season, the best record since january of all NBA teams, have no low post presence for the playoffs. yao ming we miss you bad. I hope T Mac stays healthy so next year we can truly make a run at this NBA championship.

Chris Paul is the best player in the NBA... that team without him would be as good as the Hawks, maybe.... when he is on the court they can beat anybody... same kinda goes for Lebron and the Cavs, but even with LeBron on the floor, they don't look like they can beat most of the West...

I just think it is unfair to criicize a guy playing without his starting CENTER (arguably the best offensive center in the NBA right now) and without his starting point guard.

boston took the game off plain and simple. if you guys think their lack of defense was a mistake, then think again. they know they have this series in the bag, so they were taking a rest, plain and simple. they are vastly superior to the hawks and will not lose this series.

even if youre right i cant see the hawks beating the celtics. bibby, horford, childress, smith, theyre all good players, but they are all inconsistent and poor defenders. its not gonna workk against a team like the celtics.

they probably won't beat them... but last night they definitely proved that the rest of the series could be interesting... if they just play with energy and confidence, like Philly is doing to Detroit....and Smith is not a poor defender... one of the better ones in the league actually
