Keeping awake

I want to stay awake as long as I can. At least 36 hours. I am about 15 hours into it now. What are some good ways of staying awake? keeping in mind that there are sleeping people in the house. I don't drink coffee. I hate it, and I don't know how to make it. Any suggestions?

watch movies, play video games, eat candy, take lots of showers
just do stuff that passes time by

Kim C Not G 05.12.2006 10:27 PM

Don't watch movies or tv...that always makes me crash.

Alex's Trip 05.12.2006 10:29 PM

Taking a shower is a good idea. I hope it doesn't wake anyone up...movies might make me fall asleep unles they are good. Arrested Development marathon??

Start using meth.

Kim C Not G 05.12.2006 10:32 PM

Don't forget the option of cocaine now.

HaydenAsche 05.12.2006 10:34 PM

Cocaine is much more expensive. I still reccomend the Meth.

stay active, even if you are watching tv switch to different activities. i may watch tv (snl, conan, taxi reruns are all good late nights) then record some music (headphones) surf the internet, do something productive on the computer (programming, web dev, homework, tweaking linux) then go take a shower, get something to eat.

so dont really do one thing for a long time.
for me reading puts me out.

ive got a show tommorow so i may be recording, burning and spray-painting

acually sometimes me and some friends sneak out of the house at like 1:00 with a prearranged meeting place and go on nightwalk, walking around the area. thats always fun and passes time.

schizophrenicroom 05.12.2006 11:27 PM

cinnamon/brown sugar poptarts.

Music used to work for me but doesn't anymore, I also used to read but I'd get too into the book and not be able to put it down, I'd be up the whole night reading. At the moment I find watching a movie helps though.

the best thing you could do is go outside and take a walk. My friend and I jump out of his window at 3 in the morning and go down to his woods with no flashlight or anything, we feel really cool but have to keep alert so that keeps us up for a while...

i've done that on the few ocassions in which i've read books for myself. movies or any kind of tv is the worse for me. i'll be into the movie at first, then i'll put my head down, then my feet, then i wake up in the morning wodering why i'm on the couch...

Haha I'll do that too if I'm on the couch, but my mom got me and my brother this portable DVD player for Christmas so I just watch that from my bed. That way I'm nice and comfy:D

Alex's Trip 05.13.2006 06:34 AM

Oh no...I'm getting tired...If I watch TV I'm afraid I'll fall asleep...

h8kurdt 05.13.2006 06:41 AM

Don't wank. That'll just relax you even more. Have a cold shower.

More top tips from the great me.

Alex's Trip 05.13.2006 07:26 AM

Alex's Trip 05.13.2006 08:30 AM
