comeback
 

so it's been a day of two since i got back lurking on the board. i was offline since almost a year. i dropped some bullshit posts here'n'there, mostly in the non-sonics section. it was very pleasant to see there are some people who still remember me from the old days and the previous board, where i posted much much more (ah, those were the days!) and i really felt like making a comeback to the board. yay!!!
i'll drop in with a few things that happened to me while i didn't posted here: left my job at the newspaper in january to join a sweet crew making a small info/news website, but it all fucked up so i'm unemployed and all pennyless
since a month or so (please donate hahaha).
anyway, fuck that...
my band KPD-0 released a 6 track CD recorded @ Stain Studio here in Sofia. it's called "Sofia grad" [Sofia city]. this year we played some really nice venues here'n'there with my band (link in my sig). we hit Turkey playing with Replikas- really awesome band from Istanbul that warmed for SY in 2005. i guess some of you remember my threads from the ole' board regarding my sonic-crazyness seeing that gig. so there were two gigs w/ Replikas- one in Istanbul(TR) and one in my city-Sofia (BG); both were great and turned out better than we (KPD-0/Replikas) expected. i organised the Sofia gig by myself- the biggest work done thru my label Kontingent Rex. we had a full club and were even able to pay Replikas for their coming!!!
in the next months we played with great bands from outside Bulgaria, incl. Neopit Pilski (Germany/Bulgaria), MIR (Switzerland). check out those, especially MIR - they are a noise blast!!! i will post a few pics in this thread if you want:)
also, we hit Craiova- Romania with my punk project Bitov Terror, we played with a great crust punk band from Basque Country/France- Varlin.
after a fucking heartbreak now i have a really nice person by my side, which i really love and appreciate.

How I've been doing?
Well, my band broke up, due to our drummer's tendosynovitis (typist's cramp).
That was the band for which i once stole that image of your friend, remember?
I broke up with my girlfriend who now lives in Norway.

I have a new band called Nematomorpha. Everthings works out pretty well by now: A few gigs in the near future and a release on a compilation and probably a split release with a local punk band are coming up.
And as you can see i still haven't learned to speak english.

i broke up w/ the photographer girl long time ago- maybe 3 years ago, i remember by that tough time it was still the old board. after that i had some short term relationships with nice ladies... one of them turned out to be not-so short... f**k buddies turned really good friends;) haha!

well in sofia you at least are in europe and travel is easy!

well new mexico is not that crappy-- we can make a living doing what we like. it's just that live shows are 3-6 hours away and there's no good movies in town (but netflix & greencine keep us supplied).

but we travel often... :)

!@#$!: having good shows deserves 3-4 hr drive, believe me. sometimes we catch the train to go 1000 km for a show. and it's still good! generally shows are good. good good good.
