Anyone else enjoy this superlative piece of TV? It was only ever on British TV at 2am so no-one i know has ever seen it.

Well the reason ive revisited it is cos of www.alluc.org
Its got all the series on, it loses something from about series 5 but til then its fantastic, like a play more than a TV programme

it was pretty good. got old with all the butthole rapings and stuff. still way better than any other show hbo ever produced.. heh.

I love that show. I have the first three seasons on DVD.

I couldn't help but imagine this comment being about real prison. Like, 'I guess reforming of my personality to better fit in society was good and all, but the buthole raping did get a bit old...'

i loved it from the start. i remember seeing the first episode by accident all those years ago and being hooked. it got totaly outrageous at times but still an amazing show.

I saw bits and pieces when it was on late here over the years, but I'll buy them on dvd sometime soon.

yes i just thought if you wanted to see them. they are actually quite expensive on ebay and the like and hard to get certain seasons that play on different region players. having said that you can get box sets from hong kong that arnt too bad.

They're from JB HIFI here for like $28 AUS or so. And they have a buy 2 and get the third free deal at the moment.

Great show.

Great acting, intriguing stories, compelling charcters... Lots of cock.

But there's something cheap about it. Especially the flashback bits, where we find out how so and so got sent to prison. For some reason they videotape this differently than the other bits and it just looks laughably fake.

Also, it's so damn CLEAN in Oz. And I rarely see people with cleaning supllies. No hand marks on the ubiquitious glass, no scuff marks on the floor, etc.

Yet... I can't stop watching.
