The Simpsons movie
 

I'm surprised nobody has posted this, so I figured I will for all those "Simpsons" fans, the teaser to the film is up, its just a teaser though.

I've read about the teaser, but haven't seen it. I'm hoping the movie is funnier than the TV show has become. If they get in some of the original writers and lay off the superfluous celebrity cameos they can't go wrong, surely.

my girlfriend told me about htis earlier, apparently its on youtube. The simpsons hasnt been funny since futurama came along and bettered it

The Plot is being kept tightly under wraps for now.

Sigh. I do miss Futurama. It was a goddamn crime that it was cancelled.

I hope the series goes off the air after the movie comes out.

It was a crime. Futurama was great. I got all 4 seasons.

There is talk of it coming back, but I don't know anything about that.

Yeah, the simpsons got boring after awhile.

Futurama is great, I like all the little scientific jokes.
If you search futurama on google some interesting pictures come up.

somehow i never got the intrigue of futurama.

but yeah, much as i hate to say it the simpsons ceased to be amusing years ago. one can only hope the movie can revive the glory days.

one thing i can't understand is with all the terrible reviews that the simpsons is getting now and how all the fans diss it now....why don't they stop making it? i mean don't they hear what the public is saying? why do they continue???

Because of demand from fans, apparently they're making a feature-length special, to be released on DVD sometime next year. I think there's a page at the IMDb for it.

the only way it will work is if the original writers have a part in it. otherwise it will suck badly
