cool cool exact same, never heard anything decent then heard nirvana and was obsessed with them for a year, through them heard of sonic youth which has been my favourite band ever since of coure, and through sy learned of all other cool music. tried to play guitar for about a year but got annoyed with myself, was fun though while it lasted.
now dont really listen to them much except 'here she comes now' i love that song, and the in utero version of all apologies.
used to have the live tonight sold out video and had tried unsuccessfully to get hold of the year punk broke, reading this thread has prompted me to think aha yes now there is youtube!!! so just watching it all now, pretty cool
