I've yet to watch Dexter. I've heard good things. I'll have to pick up the first season when I have some cash.

i think the tone of the show is perfect. it's overall just so fun to watch, how this guy lives his life. for me, it adds to the show that he's kinda foxy (for a serial killer).

pick up season one of mad men if you can, because until dexter returns that's the only show on my mind. it's a fun show. the advertising aspect of the show is secondary to the characters, and they're so developed and rich. i'm in love.

I've thought about buying that just because the case looks cool. I'll have a run around to the used cd/dvd shop, just might luck out and get them dirt cheap.

maybe it's my huge crush on the main character, but i've really been pushing the dvds because it's that good.

i want to buy six feet under dvds but even at supertarget they're sixty something bucks. fuck hbo. flight of the conchords was 39.99 and that's still expensive for me.

The only HBO boxset I've bought was Band of Brothers because I had to have it.

i need the rome dvds because that's the best show. of all time. ever. but until the boxset comes out and will probably be cheaper than both seasons combined, i can deal with the on demand option.

I really need to watch Rome. I'm so behind on television. I should be talking about new episodes of the Addams Family or something.

but rome is SO GOOD, especially the second season with antony and cleopatra being so hot and sad. and hot.

it's really weird because the first thing my Roman history professor said in class was "That show Rome is a complete lie".
I really want to see Deadwood and Carnivale too, but the sets are too expensive.

i dazed in and out of the movie but thought it was pretty funny. ben stiller's always been able to make me laugh

while i'm no roman professor, i know the show isn't perfect, but it's visually stunning and well-acted that any historal discrepancy doesn't bother me.

i never got too into either, but i watched on occasion and carnivale is a neat show. deadwood is too.. masculine for me. i can't explain it.

I love historical inaccuracy. So, it's right up my alley. The other two shows seem like they'd be fun to watch.

they did get the whole assassination of caesar right and fit in the characters that, while they were real, not major players as the show has them be really well.

carnivale is trippy, but i've had this thing for circuses since i was little. it's kind of my silly dream to run away with one and become an acrobat.

Great movie, had the exact mood I was looking for.

Just watched mo' money. Uh, dunno how to rate it, 5/10? I laughed a couple of times.

suddenly have the urge to watch Manhattan Murder Mystery...so I have that going

fuck yeah, nice job, starts a little annoying (too much narration), picks up in the middle and doesn't fuck up from then on.

a nice little variation on the dual-woman theme that woody allen likes so much, but not as contrived as melinda & melinda.

the cinematography was good but the film has this weird yellow color thoughout-- not sure what film stock they used but it gave it a strange look almost like old home movies, as if the movie had been "aged" before showing.

anyway, great fun, and i kept waiting for scarlett's tits to pop out from under the sheets ha ha ha-- they are lovely.

but the movie-- good! not his best of recent times, match point stays at the top of his latest batch for me. but javier bardem kicks ass as an actor. and scarlett's tits, well-- you know.

3 Ninjas again.

I really wasnt prepared for that. Intense pictures, intense story. really hollywood, but in the way at least I appreciate it.
