Speaking on Israeli army radio, Mr Ramon - a close confidant of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert - said "everyone understands that a victory for Hezbollah is a victory for world terror".
He said that in order to prevent casualties amongst Israeli soldiers battling Hezbollah militants in southern Lebanon, villages should be flattened by the Israeli air force before ground troops move in. He added that Israel had given the civilians of southern Lebanon ample time to quit the area and therefore anyone still remaining there can be considered Hezbollah supporters. "All those now in south Lebanon are terrorists who are related in some way to Hezbollah," Mr Ramon said. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/mid...st/5219360.stm They may have had 'ample time', but remember that the Israelis were shooting at civilians trying to escape the carnage in the south. Far from being Hizbollah sympathisers, when the bulldozers dig up the bodies in the flattened villages of South Lebanon they will probably find alot of old people, people who didn't have the means to run away, and those that were too scared to leave in case they were attacked on the road. |
The shit's hitting the fan bigtime and I have a very bad feeling about this!
