When I flew to Italy I think I was up for something close to 60. I have no idea really because of the time change and jet lag. My first flight was at 7am, so I up around 5am, landed in Milan around 10am their time, didn't sleep on the plain or 2-3 hour bus ride, then toured all day and night. Only way I made it was coffee and soda.

i always stay up all night/day if i have a flight. it works best going west, though.

Landed in Milan, took a bus to Verona, spent a few hours there, took the bus to town near Venice, stayed the night, spent the next whole day in Venice, slept in the same place, took bus to Pisa, spent about 3 hours there, took bus to Florence, stayed the night, spent whole next day wondering around Florence, spent another half day wondering around Florence. We missed a day trip to some town with tons of towers nearby which names escapes me because some dumb bitch got tanked on absinthe and had to go the hospital. No more school trips ever.

I've never had absinthe. It's too fucking expensive, and from what I've heard it's kind of shit here.

I've been interested to find some now that it is somewhat available in the states. I'll definitely be hitting it up properly (with sugar and water) back in Europe.
