MAGA Fumes Over France Election Results: 'They Cheated' Because MAGA. |
They'll claim that for every lost election going forward. Except if they win, then it's iron clad results that can't be disputed

Indeed. Now, I see a contradiction (well, one of SO many...) rising there: the furious isolationists basically acknowledging their shit is not "as American as apple pie" (which is total bullcrap, by the way, but that's for a different post) but a global phenomenon. They know about and love LePen (really, a woman president? The horror!), Orbán, of course Putin, and soon that Dutch racist troll that _tunic_ has been mentioning. |
Speaking of Vlad:
Russian court orders arrest of Yulia Navalnaya in absentia Wherever she is (recently she was in Berlin; dunno if that's still the case), I hope that woman's got some serious security team around her. :( |
Alright, enough. Kamala, pick a VP [cough]Mark Kelly[/cough] and let's get this fucking soap opera over with.

i just saw steve eisman on bloomberg say that regardless of democratic candidates he's 100% sure trump wins is november because there will be student protests and burnings of israeli and american flags outside the conventions which he says will be game over
his opinion i think was not as a partisan but as a portfolio manager who has a lot riding on infrastructure monies, monies which he says trump won't be able to take away he's one of the people who bet big against the housing scams of the 00's and is known in popular culture from being portrayed by that annoying office guy in the big short movie https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Eisman he's a good investor though and i think whether they agree with him or not people should listen to his opinions regardless -- inflation is down btw |
uncle joe reads his speech like a champ then calls kamala harris "vice president trump" and begins to mumble and repeats lines
fml announce after the republican convention please ... ![]() |
Orban bounced from the NATO summit in Washington to visit TFG in Mar-a-Loco. Said Agent Orange will solve the war in Ukraine. I'm psyched.

Just what we needed: a living, shouting, tweeting MAGA martyr.

Hmm...an assassination attempt on Trump.

From Axios, an anonymous "senior House Democrat":
"We've all resigned ourselves to a second Trump presidency." Christ on a STICK then what good are you in Congress and your "senior" position in the party? ![]() |

Yeah, that's what I was talking about. Too bad this isn't one of those vampire movies in which vampires are no longer vampires after you kill the main vampire. |
What the recent news about the assassination attempt shows is that there may be some indication the whole MAGA cult has reached a point where the monster Trump created (it is very much a monster creating another monster here) may turn on him given certain circumstances. I mean that question has been up in the air for a while. The way they turned on Pence during the insurrection of Jan 6 and how loudly they booed at Cheeto when he had a fleeting moment of sanity in praising the COVID vaccine...
Scary fucking times. Edit: That's not saying there is any indication the MAGA crowd as a whole is turning on him any time soon. I'm afraid the recent attack will only solidify his image in their minds. But here and there you see those cracks, his own vitriol coming back towards him. |

'Murica not dead yet: Biden decision on future expected in coming days, and Harris is considered heir apparent Kamala/Astronaut 2024, dude. |

Yeah, it's becoming increasingly likely. Dude caught COVID now at 81 and after weeks of intense pressure and scrutiny, as well as some confounding interviews and remarks. Now would be a good time to throw in the towel for him - focus on recuperating and passing someone else (most likely Harris) the torch. I've come around to welcoming his bow out. The last few weeks just proved that his energy is very finite these days. At this point there is no reason for him to push on in the state he is in. It's like someone trying to run a marathon whilst also covering a gaping wound on his belly that needs immediate medical attention with one of his hands. |

Or not. Apparently he said he'll be back on the road again next week. Willie Nelson has a better chance of beating TFG. |

holy shit, it's kamala!
not my favorite candidate of all, but at least she has a pulse here we go! |

Not my favorite in terms of leanings and policies either, but she's proved to be a very good public speaker. That does go a long way. Anyone who can avert Cheeto and isn't a looney conspiracy nut shall do right now. |
