those pictures are awesome, really makes me want to go to london and see it first hand.

and yeah, definitely big city syndrome, i have friends i don't see for years on end because they are busy (not many, most i don't see more months).

My favorite part of the City in the short 3 weeks I was there was Fleet Stret area, old buildings that the nazis missed...

Brilliant. Thanks for that. I know nothing about economics and it's suddenly sounding interesting to me, so this is good. I shall find those books.

this AND i found myself a flat i like in brixton. had great fun at madame jojos (by far my favourite club in all the land) last night. excited for smash and grab on thursday. etc etc etc.

Toilet & Bowels 06.11.2008 03:01 AM

madame jojo's is literally about one minute's walk from my work. i've only been there once though, and my friends and i were about 10 years older than everyone else in there.

sarramkrop 06.11.2008 03:11 AM

I went there a couple of times something like 8/9 years ago and they used to have a really good vintage funk/soul night on Sunday. Do you ever go to the sleazy sex shops round the corner from there? I pass through there often if I'm walking from work to meet someone for a drink in Soho.

Toilet & Bowels 06.11.2008 03:36 AM

i had to go in to a few sex shops the other day because i got sent out to buy adult sport for the office

Bumped especially for Nefeli.

I think that this little beast is the bus you were thinking of on Toilet's thread.

Look at it, it's like the nine circles of hell on 6 wheels.

pbradley 06.12.2008 06:08 AM

doubledecker or it doesn't exist

sarramkrop 06.12.2008 06:09 AM

Oh, and it's never as empty as on the picture that I have posted. Poseur!

It's the number 25 above.

2+5= 7

I know that number hides a satanic message.

Toilet & Bowels 06.12.2008 06:17 AM

a dvd that the company was working on got reviewed in adult sport magazine so i had to go and buy a copy. 25 is the dangerous bus.

Trivia about Limehouse/ Shadwell, where I live.

A band bamed themselves after Commercial Rd, the main artery that leads to the city. Not much cop, here they are: http://www.myspace.com/52commercialroaduk

sarramkrop 06.12.2008 07:04 AM

Watney Market. The letter S has fallen off where it says ''Shopping Centre''. It's been put back on but it doesn't look quite right like it used to before.

sarramkrop 06.12.2008 07:10 AM

Limehouse/Shadwell residents enthusiastically signing a petition to stop the closing of some of the local post offices bang in the middle of Watney Market.

Oh, and that Abbey cash machine is a bit dodgy. Sometimes it doesn't give you the cash.

sarramkrop 06.12.2008 07:19 AM

Local boozer The Castle is good to visit for a pint or two. Bands occasionally play here, and they tend to be of the nme variety.

sarramkrop 06.12.2008 07:36 AM

The entrance of the dubiously named Batty Street.

Batty Street is also the home of Katrina's Hair Salon, which seems always empty.
