![]() "la matriarca", also known in english as "the libertine", very amusing and oh, catherine spaak-- holy shit!! what a babe. she's still alive and a hot old woman, but in 1969 she was a creature of another world. she's fully naked and delicious in netflix instant watch! hurray! ![]() must add her to the "hot women" thread-- ayayay-- |

that's the reason i don't trust "based on a true story" movies. i saw the trailer like a month ago, looks stunning but it's something i would not see. i might spare her the disappointment though, let the baby have her bottle. |
![]() You've gotta love 3-D movies, especially horror flicks. They're even better when you're baked. Currently watching. |
yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
I LOVE Friday the 13th!
![]() |
Friday the 13th is a shit rip off of halloween.
Not to mention the series made the same fuckign movie (sometimes almost ad verbatum) about 4 times, and when they tried expanding it, it was painful XD ANd this is from someone who has a penchant for shit movies. |
Friday the 13th isn't a ripoff of Halloween, it's a ripoff of Bay of Blood. If you want to see a ripoff of Halloween, watch Offerings. Being a slasher film doesn't automatically make you a copycat.
They did remake all the films several times -- I still love them.. the atmosphere, the music, etc. Friday the 13th part VI is so good. |
Haha I couldn'pt make it that far
After the fourth one with the stupid kid who shaves his head at the end I was done XD |
I'd rate them:
1. 6 2. 9 3. 2 4. 3 5. 7 6. 8 7. 1 8. 4 9. 10 10. Freddy vs Jason 11. 5 |
smokin' aces. it sucked. awesome violence, dumb plot.
|
yeah smokin aces is fucking terrible. i reviewed it on imdb... my name on there is polysicsarebest.
|
IMBD and Rotten Tomatoes need to combined into one ultimate movie mecca.
|
V For Vendetta.
|
![]() There's some very cool footage on it, including some SY live bits + Thurston being interview. |
peeping tom
it waz excellent |

it's on netflix. even on instant watch i think so you could start a "free trial" with the sole purpose of watching it, and then cancel. |
punk: attitude is pretty bad.
i love the old footage of all the bands but once the movie hits the uk punk movement, it's a slow drag downwards to pretention and boredom. my favorite part is the footage of the bad brains before they turned rasta and hardcore. it is worth watching at least once, though. |

yeah, punk attitude is kinda average, but it's worth seeing.. still WAY better than kill yr idols and better than american hardcore.
|
may be my fave pixar film
![]() the sounds and visuals are so impressive |
kamillions - 9/10
rambo iv - 5/10 |
night of the living dead

Cloverfield - It was alright, I just hated how they where all out to find that chick.
Big - Awesome movie, so cute. I love Tom Hanks more than life. |
i haven't seen kill your idols or american hardcore yet.

its terrible. if you really want to watch it i can give you my copy. srsly. pm me if interested. punk:attitude was pretty good i thought. im just sick of all these magazines, books and movies that make a movie about "punk" and then just talk about the sex pistols.... btw has anyone here ever seen a doc about some kind of alternative music that thurston has NOT been in? i have seen him in punk:attitude kill yr idols the sun ra doc the grunge doc daniel johnston doc minutemen doc i think the half japanese doc i cant remember if he was in the movie about the ramones, and the movie about rocky ericson |
I just ordered jandek on corwood, I bet he's not in that, though I know he's a fan.
I just watched thirteen... 5/10. |
Emmah it wouldn't let me give you positive reputation, so I will just say Big was a great film. I jump on those big ass electric floor piano sensor things anytime I see them...which was once in my life.
|
The last movie I watched was 'Untraceable'. Pile of crap.
The last movie I watched at the cinema was 'Cloverfield'. Great on the big screen. |
the invisible= cheesy, but there's an awesome scene involving a rave and a trail of dead song.
afterwards i put on casablanca. |
bullet in the head - 7/10
|
![]() Redundant statements galore: Zwigoff and Clowes failed miserably with this predictable piece of shit. Every character is paper-thin and spread quite carelessly over an embarassingly suffocated excuse of a plot. D EDIT: Spare the wonderfully humorous Thanksgiving dinner scene. |
