I'm playing Resident Evil 5, and everytime I play it, I fall in love with Sheva.
|
^ I have it....never felt the urge to play it.

I thought I'd post this in here but this flash animator (egoraptor) does 'Awesome' videos...where he parodies a game.
some good ones: Metal Gear Awesome 1 n 2, Awesome Center Redux, and some compilations have good ones too like Super AWesome Bros. Prince of Awesome. yah... http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/sea...thor/egoraptor |

Resident Evil 4 was a difficult act to follow, but the team behind Resident Evil 5 did a pretty good job. :) |

The Awesome Crossing video is hilarious and very true. |
I'm pretty addicted to the basic Wii Tennis. I did some music for a Wii game coming out soon, so I'll be on that - but I can't talk about it yet.

I hate wii tennis.
haha.. not sure if it is due to my hate of regular tennis.. but still. wii tennis. no. |
For all that Myst talk a couple of days ago: yeah, the Myst games are like Keeping It Simple put, point and click adventure games involving mostly walking around and figuring out how to use contraptions that really don't make any sense.
To add to the perceived boredom you'd think the game would contain, the first games in the series were just pictures that you navigated. Yeah I guess it seems boring, there is next to no dialogue in the original Myst, only three characters have dialogue and you barely ever talk to them. But I dig them because the locals, and mystery, and puzzles are all enjoyable. The Stoneship Age in the first game always makes me think of Slint's Good Morning Captain. It's really more of an interactive movie that anything, but I enjoy them, for whatever reason. That and I'm kind of a sucker for adventure games, it's my favorite genre. Played and beat this the other day: ![]() Kind of cheesed me off more than anything since it makes me want to play MGS4 more than ever, problem is I don't own a PS3. |
I played through MGS4 at a friends PS3... I think it's the worst game in the series. The gameplay is great and widely improved, but the story didn't do it for me and the cutscenes were far too cheesy. It also could have been half as long if Snake didn't repeat every word.
"Liquid's evil" "Evil?" "Yeah, and he has a new kind of Metal Gear" "Metal Gear?" "Yes, and he plans to destroy America" "America?" And so on, and so on. Sure, it was there in the previous games as well, but it did never bother me as much as it did in MGS4. Sure it's a great game, but MGS2 is still the best MGS game. |

I've played all iterations of MGS and MGS4 is by far the best one in my opinion. |
MGS4 is awesome...but eyah it could've been 3958-867095867094876 times better...and certain dialogue was INCREDIBLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! cheesy.
I still vote fer numba 1. MGS rules all. |

There was a lot of self-effacing humour in MGS4 which only fans of the game would get, which made it an absolute joy to play. I didn't notice any cheesy dialogue, but if you guys believe there was, maybe it was part of the self-effacing humour. :) |

I consider myself a MGS fan, I've played through the first three games several times and MGS2 is one of my all time favorite games. But I don't know, I thought the MGS4 dialogues felt cheesy way too many times. There were times when I wanted to skip the cutscenes. But still, as I said, I think it's a great game. |
