^^hahaha that was exactly the same scene where I almost pissed my pants while walking down the train (from the toilet to the seat) at night. windows beside me and then this, hahaah

Wow, this looks pretty slick. Some cool screenshots at least and an intriguing looking story. Might look into this. |

its all about the story, which is pretty cool. one of the few true and cool cyberpunk games |

Umbrella Chronicles or re4 |
Quote:
it's probably Umbrella Chronicles. It's like just a shoot-stuff game right? |

is that the assasin's guild? I know that you can join (and reach highest rank) in every guild in the game, but I'm not sure that you can be in all of them at once.... it's been awhile though... the most annoying thing about that game for me was trying to gain favor in the wizard's guild, and accidentally stealing something from one. I SWEAR I DIDN'T MEAN TO CLICK IT, OFFICER. Quote:
she can take me in her inventory ANYTIIME. |
I'm playing Mega Man X and I keep getting fucked up by the Octopus boss (it's weird, I'm a giant MM fan, but can never remember boss' names). Anyway, I've gone thru his level like a dozen times, and he fucks me up. I know to use the Shield first. Then the Camelion thing. But yeah. He's a jerk.

The other cool cyberpunk game was Syndicate. Remember that? :) ![]() |

got it on the genesis. prefer the sega cd version, but its insanely expansive nowadays. they are some more good ones: shadowrun on the genesis (prefer it way over the snes one) SNATCHER!!! of coruse rise of the dragons (sega cd // DOS) or to say it better the latter two are more blade runner inspired games, whith a high amount of noir, and... a trenchcoat, ahahah other good ones Ive played: Shadowrun SNES Shadowrun Sega/Mega CD Blade Runner PC Syndicate Wars PC I got no mouth but I must Scream DOS Deus ex Xbox Beneath a Steel Sky DOS Neuromancer C64 / DOS interesting is that all shadowruns are completely different, no simple ports, different engines //stories. Blade runner the game is one of the few examples that a movie based game can rock your socks off. |

yeah thats why he likes it so much. It's all shooting zombies and licker things and bats. My 7 year old digs it too. I have not had time to play yet, but it is still pretty bad ass to watch. |
Quote:
he'd like House Of The Dead Overkill. But unless yr cool with yr 7 year old listening to an absurd amount of F-Bombs, keep him away. |
My kid knows every cuss word in the book, but he will not repeat them we have had that talk so cool sounds like a good bday present for Ryan:)

![]() Plays a bit differently than Myst or Riven. Plays a bit more like those Journeyman Project games. Still good, easier than the first two games, you can kind of stumble through some of the puzzles without too much trouble. Good stuff though, beautiful scenery, and it's got Brad Dourif, can't beat that. |
![]() Eh, it's pretty great ! |
all my new Wii games.
|
How quickly do you guys beat all these games? Christ...
|
![]() got this for a bargain, perfect for long rail travels. condensed to the max. grinding grinding grinding |
al, just stick to the original trade for now and then try to figure something further out in the future. Cool?
|
Quote:
I'm a big Myst fanatic.. haha. I can beat Myst in like 2 minutes now :) Riven and Exile rule, I stopped there... |
Quote:
Haha yeah, I wonder if they intended that from the beginning, being able to beat the game right away like you can if you know how to use the switches and fireplace code. Riven really fixed that kind of thing, not that it was a problem, I think it's kind of cool. |

that was comix zone for the 2 GG & gen arcade coll, wasnt it? |
Quote:
it was! :) we'll sort out another trade later. Especially if you happen upon Max Play Classics. :) |
![]() amazing. And scary. Brilliant. |

are you really after it? if so I will start an automated ebay search, which contacts me when its up for sale! should i bring CZ on its way, as you know its waiting for it, packed, hahaha |

if there werent this bitch called nostalgia, this would probably be my favourite, but there is still part 2 which was mindblowing to me back in the days. anybody remembers the 2 disc plot system? amazing |
I played the PS2 version of Resi 4. I loved the large number of exclusives that were thrown in.
|
I was really impressed by the RE2 cart for N64. I'm still slightly amazed that they were even able to include the cutscenes. Definitely a title I intend to seek ownership of, once more. That, and the GC REmake.
|
Quote:
I'm only after Max Play becuz it's weird and cool. It's put out by Datel, and it's like a collection of 10 arcade games. Except they're all just new games that are ripoffs of actual arcade games. I don't know. Something about it makes me want it. haha. But yeah send off CZ. :) |
RE4 is probably my favorite, though the REmake of the first game is amazing too. But 4 just fixed so many problems -- most importantly ink ribbons. It really allows you to just get in there and play. Plus, it's scary as hell.
|
I should point out, I haven't played the entire RE series yet. I've only played 1, 4, 0 and Gaiden.
I haven't actually played 2, 3 or Code Veronica. Nor the lightgun games yet. |
3 stinks
2 & veronica rule |
Quote:
I played the Dreamcast version of Code:Veronica. |
I got got Phantasy Star Online Episodes I & II (GCN) for $16... sealed!
