I had another one earlier today. After so many successful ones, this one was the first one to be considered a slight failure. I can't really say why, I spent 4 hours on a train to reach the city of destination before me and my colleagues started off the presentation.
I'd felt quite at ease moments before but when it was my turn, my hands suddenly started shaking, my voice went all trembling ... just like in dark old days.
I can't really say why - my confidence regarding this matter has been rising steadily within last 3-4 months, having had so many successful attempts at giving a presentation.
And now this.
Maybe I just didn't have my day.

Maybe it was the wait for your colleagues to finish their report. I found in my life I always did better when I went first. That way I didn't have time to think about what might go wrong or even forget things.

that's exaclty what I was thinking on a train on the way back. I'm a man of rituals and habits and it's never good to break them.

fair point. I had to wait about half an hour for my colleagues to finish. the bad think for me was that the dude before me is a real blast when it comes to presentations and i was saying to myself that I could never be as good as him.

i'm fine, i'm just questioning myself what could have happened yesterday that I become so nervous all of a sudden.

After quite a long time, there's another one waiting for me this afternoon. hopefully not too many people will be there, however i'm slightly out of practice, because it's been around a year that I went on giving presentations so please wish me luck.
