I think he was already a little beat up, then the Colombians did a job on him, and THEN Uruguay kicked the shit out of him, a few days later. Guy hasn't played for Bayern since: 0-1 vs Dortmund and yesterday's 2-3. I guess they kinda need the feller... |
hot damn this frankfurt dortmund 2nd half is bananas
dortmund is getting weidenfeller'd 0-1 all first half bunch of substitutions 1-1 eventually 2-1 seconds later 11 min to go now w/ frankfurt ahead -- and it's a 2-1 frankfurt win what a game! |
bayern/bayer game 1-1 right now!
and leipzig was 6 points ahead of bayern before this game started at this rate ancelotti is gonna get "sacked" as the ingleses say gotta say i was looking forward to his tenure but i'm not seeing the progress not just ready to say "i miss pep" lololol. but i do miss heynckes. |

Looking forward to watching it on MOTD later. Sounds like a crazy one. |
Actually turns out the top pic of Aguero was from another match but yeah, mental game.
And I'm now officially worried about West Ham beating relegation this season. Although a part of me would actually welcome it, if only cos it'd throw a massive great spanner in Karren Brady et al's evil plans. |
speaking of worries, i'm worried about bayen
sure, they beat mainz 3-1, ha ha ha but the first half they got scored against first, they came back, scored one, looked like they could have scored 1,000, managed to score only a 2nd one, went to halftime. 2nd half was slow as molasses, looked like mainz could have equalized, but bayern won with a glorious set piece from lewandowski but only 1 minute before regulation. meanwhile, mueller has not been able to score a single goal in bundesliga all year. he has a total of only like 4 goals all season. mueller! oh and yes vidal DID play today. i can't explain... |
Remembering Ancelotti at Chelsea he was great at getting a very good crop of players to maintain their level. They'd never collapse but at the same time they wouldn't play above themselves. Don't know if that's happening at Bayern but clearly with Pep, his teams can often do the extraordinary but also, on occasions not click at all.
|
oh, that sounds familiar
in fact neuer has been complaining that the team needs to push harder |

wtf? awesome |
bayern/ atlético
barcelona/ monchengladbach let's see how the bundesbunda performs today |
Can't believe Wenger's playing Sanchez in such a meaningless game. Apart from anything else, it's fucking with my decision whether to captain him in my fantasy football team this weekend. The guy needs a rest so why risk him tonight?
Bayern v Atletico is clearly the one to watch though. |
fuck yeah lewandowski!
so far an entertaining game and now bayern ahead 1-0 this past weekend he did almost exactly the same vs. mainz oh now atletico on fire ha ha time to fip the tortilla and counter them --- ETA: that was satisfying (for me anyway) atlético super-hard to score against but it's not like bayern didn't have more chances. could have been 2 or 3-0 with very slight randomness. i really appreciated that atlético was unable to suprise bayern on counters. this is a new development. neuer had very little work to do, and that's definitely good, whereas it was oblak who at times had to act as sweeper keeper. costa a beast, robben great on counters w/ lewandowski, this was very satisfying for me. oh i just said that. well it's true. |
is anyone watching real/borussia?
== eta - poor dortmund, at halftime. they're really trying but player for player madrid is just MORE. even the great aubameyang looks a little lost on good news though, little pulisic is fantastic at barely 18 years of age == fuuuuuuuuuc 2-0 -- yesss! auba YESSS === batman & robin are BACK!!!! ![]() |

Yeah I watched it. The pace of that game was just relentless. I'd disagree that Dortmund looked lost. They were certainly holding their own in the game, but it's just they didn't take those early chances. Good game though. |
