I love Superbad so much, but everything else those people have been involved in sucked, sucks, or probably will suck.

Though I think "funny people" or whatever it's called looks alright.

Watched Cobra Verde by Herzog last night. Sad that his fighting with Kinski led to a much shorter and uneven movie than they might have done. Still fucking awesome crazy fucking mind fucks of course. Slavery is a type of power and power is an ineffective but frequently attempted cure for loneliness.

To cheer myself up today, I watched one of my all time favorite films, Glen or Glenda.

I have nothing else to compare it to, but the new Criterion issue of this looks and sounds fucking fantastic (as if you would expect anything else from them)

Dark City-Director's Cut Pretty cool sci-fi movie

Superbad is really really brilliant. I can watch it every few months and crack up at it. The writing is perfect. The new one does look good.

I've been watching the complete series of The State since it arrived. So much better than my shitty bootlegs. Though obviously 95% of the original music is gone. But fuck it. Amazing.

6/10. Could they cut any more out?

Cool, NR, The State is coming through my n-flix soon. I love that show but it's been so long since I've actually watched it that I wasn't sure whether to buy it or not.

Yeah, I couldn't believe it! That opening 5 minutes alone is worth everyone watching it.

saw bruno. it was not as funny as borat by a long shot and you could tell a lot of the scenes where staged but it was still very funny and he gets away with quite a lot. i liked the test audience bit the best myself.

I think it looks like he's barfing up copper pipes. A picture says a thousand words, I guess!

I'll probably wait to see Bruno on TV, same as I did with Borat
