Ok, just an atempt to get things in order.

Here is a Sonic fan from sweden (me), that has been listening to the youth since... well, it's been a long time. The first sonic yout album that i bought was E.V.O.L.

And the last one (up until this moment) was the drstroyed room.

Yada Yada Yada.

Great to have other SY fans to "talk" to. I don't know too many around here!

Hey, I'm Franky - first time I saw Sonic Youth was 1986 or 1987 - I'm not sure which. It was at Irving Plaza with Firehose.
I've seen Sonic Youth more times than any other band.
I've even seen some of their side projects like From Here to Infinity.
I have most of their SST releases on Vinyl.

hello, i'm ben, 18 year old history & politics student from the uk, quite disillusioned with the current indie scene here, went through many of the bands post-punk influences, then ended up listening to no-wave until i got to early sonic youth, hadn't listened to them except a couple of the singles when i was like 14, but now i'm really getting into them in a big way :)
