Also, although it's more of a ballache, can't you just clear out a load of the never-posted accounts and just check the new a/cs, rather than delete thread-at-a-time? And presumably you can block IPs then, which'll make absolutely no difference.

I don't just delete the spam threads, I do ban and block the posters IP too. It doesn't seem to make much difference like you say as they keep coming back with new ones...
