Steve is the best drummer who doesn't use a double kick...
Sorry, but I love double kick and it's one of my "good drumming" prerequistes...but in Steve's case, I'll make an exception. |

I"m quite the opposite. I normally find people who use double bass to become quite boring sometimes. I prefer to hear the hi-hat clap than just another bass pedal. |
I made this thread a long time ago, but I'll let it slide.
if you really wanna hear why SS Beat Patrol is the shiznit, it's best exemplified in the likes of the SYR series. Namely SYR8, SYR1 and SYR7. Pure fuhkin' Sonic Jazz, babydolls. |
Oh! I agree with SYR8. Haven't listened to 7 yet....but man. 8 is one of mah faaaaves.
|
8 is brilliant. Amazing. Incredible. And Steve is the #1 reason why.
|
Stijl off of SYR2 is incredible
he was so so so good at the forum gig. blew my mind off |

I just listened to Goo yesterday, and goddamn I love the drumming on that album. Kool Thing is wonderful, and Titanium Expose is badass.
As lame as this sounds, I wish all of Goo or DDN was on Rock Band. Now that I got a job though, I am totally gonna buy a drum set once I save up enough. |
