Cool, I'm going to snag it right now.

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 08.09.2008 02:20 PM

Yeah, it is funny that IE has started to try to be like Firefox

I really like the fox. but somehow the mac-versions gets buggier and buggier update for update, and that sucks. not one day where it doesnt loads itself to death for no reason.
the fox should eat more apples to stay sane! < how unbelievable methaphoric

Now I have to buy the whole program again.

But that's Digidesign's lazy fucking fault. Vista is fine.

if you like to customize your browser with plug ins etc. then you have to go for the fox. Ive chosen firefox over safari cause, I found some sites that safari isnt properly capable of.
but since an update firefox is pretty unstable, it crashes from time to time, but you can always restart yur last session without any probs

acousticrock87 08.10.2008 06:24 PM

Eh, I wouldn't say it's worth replacing Safari unless you really want a few of the plug-ins. It's just necessary to replace IE.

gmku 08.11.2008 06:54 AM

Thing is, it's just Firefox. It's an Internet service. It's not like it's the new Stones album or anything like that. In other words, I''m not going to get all worked up about Firefox, IE, Safari, or anything else that brings a utility service into my house and go out and buy a fan T-shirt or put a poster on my bedroom.

I think it's really weird when people get excited about this shit.

atsonicpark 08.11.2008 07:00 AM

I just appreciate its quality and its, um non-failing-ever-for-me for years.

I like things that work.

gmku 08.11.2008 07:39 AM

I can see that. I appreciate that the water stays on and running in my house. As long as I pay the bill.

It would be sad to think of people getting excited by utility services, but considering how bad most of them are, it's hardly surprising that when a good one comes (like Firefox) that people do become somewhat appreciative.

The day someone designs a toasted sandwhich-maker that doesn't require me to coax my sandwich out with a knife, I'm gonna be cheering in the street!

atsonicpark 08.11.2008 07:55 AM

I appreciate good things.

That's the point of appreciation threads.. it's not some huge statement. If someone wanted to make a "Spaghetti appreciation thread", fuck yeah.. spaghetti rules!

wrong thread, then

Phlegmscope 08.11.2008 08:11 AM

I used Opera for a long period of time, but got vexed by it as it had a tendency to crash on OS X.
I switched to firefox when the version 3 came.
I'm not into safari at all.

I wanna get that toaster that burns a picture of hello kitty on the bread!
a toaster where you can customize your own "branding" would be so damn great I would start a 1k threads about it!
