i really am not sure about myspace. seems like its some sort of neccessery evil or whatever if you want people to hear your music. otherwise i think its a piece of poo.

Not that this judgement applies to any of you, but

I find Myspace to be irritating in general - the personal pages at least. It's just another vehicle for people to advertise how 'edgy' and 'avant-garde' they think they are. Their music lists, quirky blogs, disinterested self-portraits

Ugh. Remind me again why I give a rat's ass about reading of random strangers' interests?

It's some kind of human social marketplace, where hordes of people who think they are 'individuals' insinuate that they want to network with other 'individuals,' when really it's a competition to outdo everyone else's purportedly vanguard myspace pages.

To be totally honest, I agree. I only signed up so friends would stop pining at me to get one.

well get started on your webpage for your band and I guess how are you going to expose your music to others besides hometown folks who see your band? Get to tourin' and get your website going. How is it not a great resource for underground bands? UNtil you get a review somewhere nobody will know anything about you.
