I mean now. Although those pundits must have consisted of shit for brains to be outraged at the idea of Mourinho admitting they won't win the league now. Tbh, here it was mainly a debate of who should go between Pogba or Mourinho. |

Honestly I feel like he's the sole reason for this massive decline of United. Everything can be traced down to him. Nonsensical transfers, poor management appointees et al. |

robbie earle, a knight eva amurri’s husband, some american who played somewhere robbie mustoe, old man who pokes the younger man with his finger “this is manchester united not some high school team... how can he... oooooo....” etc super annoying |
it would be hilarious (i mean, i would enjoy it) if the caretaker person drove them ever further to the bottom
you know, total freefall and fighting relegation with southampton and cardiff and whatever’s there or at least, say, an embarrassing 14th place |
oh, pardon me, it’s fulham that looks fucked already

ok ha ha ha |

What's the deal there? is woodward actually signing the players? |

Roy Keane. Very much Mr Man Utd but would make Jose's management style look low-key. (and not a single chance of ever getting the job) Long term, I keep hearing good things about Jardim but know next to nothing about him. Poch makes sense but are MU really a better option than Spurs right now? Blanc would be the safe/boring option and even now I'm not 100% sold on Zidane as a manager (as ludicrous as that probably sounds). Simeone would have the balls for the job but his style of football is too close to Mourinho's and could become just as volatile. I can see it being Blanc. |

It's him who has the final say on things, right? Hence why they're buying players they either don't need or aren't up to scratch and being a total waste of money. |
ahhh... roy keane.... im familiar with the name...
so being an assistant coach at aston villa qualifies one to replace mourinho. got it XD so that would get you closer to europaland. do you wanna make europa or no? i mean west ham. |
No. I dont think well qualify for the europa anyway but no, I don't want it. I wish they'd dissolve that tournament altogether.
|
dont wanna jinx the thing but 7th place gets you to europa and youre 9th
i get the damage that would come with it and see why you dont want it but if man u plunges in the table you’d be nearer and things with pellegrini seem on the up and up i actually have enjoyed seeing west ham lately. aesthetically i mean. entertaining play. speaking of 7th, and entertaining, wolves liverpool on friday? my 2 favorite teams in the prem ha ha ha (poor wolves will be crushed i expect) |
Quote:
You're forgetting the team in 8th here! |
Quote:
(do you want man u to fail?) |
If we finish where we are now, 9th, we'll have done really well. But yeah, they have been good to watch recently. The league finish doesn't worry me that much - as long as we're evolving away from the annual relegation battle. Mid-table is fine with me, so long as the football's decent.

but mid table flirts with europa and the added dates it’s hard to just coast |
|

Haha. Brilliant! Quote:
It's a nice problem to have but WH fans are a way from having to ponder it right now. Establishing themselves as a safe upper mid-table club (becoming Everton, basically) is the dream atm. WH have been a disaster for years so it's baby steps all the way for me. |

I mean...he's a dickhead, but there's no denying he's a great player. Just looked now. Swear they pick em out of a hat. Is there anyone who'd say Pogba is "better" than David Silva. Just cos Pogba was in the team that won the world cup doesn't mean he's had a better all round season. Bonkers. Might as well Giroud about him whilst you're at it. |
Yeah, too much seems based on the World Cup.
And just seen they've revealed the final 10 now 1. Modric 2. Ronaldo 3. Messi 4. Mbappe 5. Salah 6. Griezmann 7. Hazard 8. De Bruyne 9. Kane 10. Kante Good showing for the Prem. 5 players compared with 3 from La Liga, 1 from Serie A and 1 from Ligue 1. Highest ranked Bundesliga player (Lewandowski) only makes #30 |
bundesliga is stuck in the mud at the moment. not surprised there.
|
3 x France
2 x Belgium 1 x Croatia 1 x Portugal 1 x Argentina 1 x England 1 x Egypt Interesting there isn't a single Spanish player in the top 10, and just checking past lists there hasn't been any since 2014 (Inesta #4 and Xavi #8). Also no Italian player since the Guardian started doing these top 100s (2012) |
off the top of my head i cant think of a max-level football spaniard
de gea is arguably a great keeper but that might be hard to perceive between spain’s world cup performance and manchester united’s record. and he had a big part to play on spain’s debacle if im not mistaken. i havent seen enough of man u to assess him there but 6th place is not exactly the spotlight. |
o wait! silva! (i just looked at the list)
but see.... it’s not always though i have seen now the brilliance that you speak of but it’s more in flashes than a day in/day out thing i believe |
Anyone been watching the new documentary on Netflix about Sunderland? Honestly worth a watch and I definitely prefer it to the Man City one from earlier this year.
Two things that I love-how many former Everton players were in the squad none of whom are any good, and symbols, if you think I get too into football with my rants you should see some of the people on this. Makes me look like Ghandi in comparison. I'd actually be interested to see what symbols thinks of it. And if he can decipher some of the accents :D |
hahaha the accents! i hope they have subtitles....
im off netflix at the moment, but plan to get on it periodically to catch up with things. currently only using amazon, but i saw the man city thing on amazon. what’s the name of it? —x and dammit, i missed liverpool wolves, looks like it was a nice game per the highlights https://youtu.be/3uqAf-mwF3Y |

I loved the 1st episode. What a relief to find a club that's worse run than West Ham. EDIT: Not that I can really moan about West Ham right now - annoyingly enough. |

does europa still want them? you want brexit? then stay out of europe! :D:fuckyou::D |

So it looks like Liverpool's league bid really is on.
EDIT: Watched Man U Cardiff. MU rampant. Obviously players with something to prove. |
two fun facts:
1. Frank De Boer is very close to becoming the new coach of the MLS team in Atlanta. The analyst on Dutch TV said it's a degradation for him, that he couldn't get a proper club in Europe anymore, because he left most of them prematurely and therefore was forced to seek a club overseas. That analyst is a douchebag btw, anyone ever hear of the term "realistic football"? That doesn't make any sense, e.g. in the sentence "this club (I think it was VVV) likes to play realistic football", and then claiming that their defence sucks because of it. 2. The mom of Matthijs De Ligt was my oldest sister's best friend in high school. They don't see each other anymore though, and I never met him. So I can't arrange any VIP tickets for anyone sorry :( |
wat da fuc, crystal palace beat man city????
lester chelsea too bit of a suprise but not nearly. holy fuc! 3-1? howww ok lol oh no 3-2. well same thing ultimately — sorry about west ham but mid table is good right? - everton spurs predictions? |
If Everton eek out a draw then it's better than a kick up the bum. I'm torn between watching the game or it's a wonderful life.
