You mean Man U v Wolves. Yeah, should be an interesting one, although mainly from the perspective of seeing what Wolves offer up. But MU look they've steadied the ship a bit so I do expect them to win.
Man City go to Cardiff, which 'should' be a pretty routine 3 points for Pep. |
oh lol blame my tiny calendar. all dates crammed. even better! portugal vs portugal. ty
|
MU 1 up but until the goal think Wolves looked the better side.
|
my channel showing liverpool southampton which isnt a contest
tuned back to dortmund hoffenheim whihpch dortmund is losing 0-1 |
Wolves equalised!! Game on.
|

dortmund hoffenheim super eventful, two goals annulled (one from var) a red card, dortmund came from behind with 10 men to tie 1-1. a little sad to see dortmund a step below from their glory days but they still have some good talent bayern-schalke later! |
What a great game. Wolves were holding on at the end, defending very deep, but got the point they probably deserved.
|
i saw the very end of it after the liverpool transmission stopped
traore so fucking greedy aaaaaaaahhhhh that last chance he could have passed he’s good and fast but frustrating in the finish when ive seen him anyway i hope i catch a replay later if i can |
I know what you're saying about Traore but credit to him for going for the win when it would've been easier just to run the clock down. I can't fault any of them after that.

WH 0-0 Chelsea (Half Time)
Impressed with WH's discipline so far. Chelsea have had far more possession but haven't really threatened, and if anything WH have had the better chances. Commentator described it as "turgid" and it's definitely low-key but it's a fascinating game to watch, if you're into those more chess-like matches. -- Game did fizzle out in the 2nd half but I'll take the point all day long. WH held strong and really should've won it when Yarmo missed an absolute sitter. If they can play like they did last week and today they should be ok. Not spectacular but ok. |

oh i was wondering about that one. glad you survived the pressure. it’s gotta be an achievement under the circumstances. — this one is “english week” at the bundesliga, meaning everyone plays tue-wed, but i won’t have time to look at it... bayern-hertha on friday could be good though... |
It was a good performance from West Ham, although it's fair to say Chelsea were almost as poor last week as Everton were the week before. But they are starting to look more like a team now. It's MU next, so another hard fixture we'll be lucky to get a point from, although I'm now a tiny bit more optimistic (but no less realistic) about the season ahead. By which I only mean we might not be one of the most at risk teams in the relegation battle. Right now I'd say those are Cardiff and Huddersfield. I just can't see either of them having enough to beat the drop.
|
h8kurdt in ‘murka, i realize now, probably missing all those games
|
Seems a bit excessive, just to avoid watching Everton, but can't say I blame him.
|
meanwhile, things go from bad to worse for jose as Man U get dumped out of the carabou cup by Championship league's Derby County.

cara who?
lol ok i came here to say “so you play man u tomorrow?” and therefore “so you play man u tomorrow?” me i’m looking forward to liverpool chelsea... oh yes... |
Yeah. We'll probably lose. As unsettled as MU are atm, they're still a better team than WH, but we'll see. I never expected the point we got against Chelsea last week and yet we could've easily come away with all three in the end. And if there is a good time to play MU, it's surely now - especially after WH's 8-0 win against Macclesfield midweek in the Carabou. As a one-off game against a division 2 side, it hardly proves much, but it''ll only boost morale even further, coming straight after the Everton and Chelsea games.
Speaking of the Carabou cup (and Chelsea) did you see Hazard's goal against Liverpool in the week? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7e8W_F8Byg |
no fußball mid week for me this one
was on the road doing shit that needed doing but i’ll look, ty — holy shit ese man está loco wow! what country is this? argentina? lol impressive, really, thanks again wait so liverpool chelsea meeting twice in one week? bananas i wanna see kloppo’s revenge first time they lose this season huh? no? hm... |
Yeah, Liverpool's 1st loss, but given it was the Carabou Cup neither team played their strongest XI. Hazard only came on as sub for the last half hour. while Salah and Firminho didn't come on for Liverpool till even later than that. All that game really tells you is Chelsea's bench might be marginally better than Liverpool'a.
Hazard's goal was amazing, though, regardless. |
oic
best wishes vs. mourinho. don’t think i’ll wake up for the whistle but maybe i’ll catch halftime |
Yeah, if you wanna catch any game this week, Liverpool v Chelsea later the same day is the obvious choice.
Then it's Liverpool v Man City next week, which is about as must-see as it gets. |
West Ham 1-0 up in the 1st 5 minutes ... and playing REALLY well!
Lovely build up for the goal. EDIT: Even if replays show it was a smidge offside :o EDIT: West Ham 2-0 Man U (HT) Element of good fortune for both goals but who gives a fuck? I might have to go for a walk during the 2nd half. Too scared to watch. |
been looking at the game since minute 33 and score aside the most remarkable for me west ham looked... watchable?
that is the great development of the season for me. i remember being bored to tears seeing them a few games back. zabaleta great and valbuena shutting down pogba great the attack excitiing. im not attached to any result lol so ill keep watching |
Zabaleta's been brilliant, and Rice has Pogba in his pocket.
Still a way to go (almost guaranteed Lukaku gets at least one - he always scores against us) but that's been the best I've seen us play in a LONG time! Right .... back to it EDIT: Arnie going down is a worry. MASSIVE save from Fabianski! I have no fingernails left. Man Who? |
haha congrats on a well deserved win
sure man u sucked some but let’s not put it all on them i thought west ham was good. well organized on both on defense and counters, accurate and speedy passes, deadly on finish, what’s not to like? and man u got better with rashford in but jamonz west absorbed well and did not lose their shit which was great. mourinho likely shot himself i the foot with pogba out but hey. |
Thanks.
It got a bit tense when they got one back but honestly, apart from that and Fabianski's save from Fellaini, they didn't really trouble us. I thought Noble was immense today. And I just love Arnie. But credit also to Zabaleta and Anderson. All of them really. A great team performance. But yeah. Hard to see where MU go from here. In fairness to Mourinho, Pogba was awful. Rice had him on toast. But didn't understand why Martial went off - for me he was the only really constant threat Man U had. One of either Pogba or Jose will go. My money's on Jose although, honestly, they both deserve to be gotten rid of. West Ham played great but I have to say I was surprised just how toothless Man U looked. Fact is, they're no longer in that bracket of English teams you automatically fear playing. And considering how much money Jose's spent on that squad, the buck ultimately has to stop with him. (And if he dwells on the 1st goal being offside - even though it was - he should be ashamed of himself. Anyone, even the most rabid MU fan will have to admit the better team won.) |
oh your player is balbuena a brazilian not valbuena the old french
now i have to learn your team ha ha ha ——— so theyre showing man city brighton here but i’ll rest my eyes and ears for the main course later |
great game so far and hazard ON FIRE
- mo’s shot on goal + the save omfg games like these |
Yeah, great game so far!
|
Currently watching my first game in what seems an age. Great game so far. The pace is just unbelievable
|
Are you back in the UK?
|
Nono! Currently in a bar in Chinatown. I was walking past a bar a saw the game and couldn't resist the temptation.
Annoying thing is there's a screen next to the game showing the OTHER "football" and there's two guys blabbering/watching the game. Some accents grate. |
Seeing Alan Shearer doing the analysis on NBC is odd. Wonder how much he gets for these side gigs.

did you miss it? :D |
Haha I did. DC is so quiet it's bizarre.
Anyway, thank God both West ham and Everton won today. When was the last time that happened? |
The stream I found for the West Ham game was on NBC. I can't remember who the commentators were but they were English.
