Last night I decided to go play some SF3. Thank God I did. I met an old school player(actually pretty much the best Anakaris in the USA, and Anakaris is like bottom 3 characters because of no pushblock air strings etc. and here he is in winners semis with him going against one of the Five fighting game Gods.). ANyways....I think I'm gonna start to learn Darkstalkers with him. He's helping me get better in SF3 right now and gave me a few programs to study. YO WE'RE BRINGING THE OLD SCHOOL BACK YO! THIRD STRIKE, DARKSTALKERS3, ALPHA 2 COMBACKS YO!

FINALLY GOT TO PLAY YATAGARASU!
This....is definitely keeping my hopes (somewhat) high for the future. Some people from the KoF(98-2k2?) and SF3 series made their own fighting game! And it's pretty fucking awesome. The fucking feeling of ths game though.....really has the fluid nature of SF3(and parry system too!). This game takes a lot after 3s...but it's definitely earned it's right to maybe become a bigger name. ANyways...after a PC release, I believe it's going to be on the PS4(I think I heard tha tsomewhere....).

I don't own it yet, because it's only for PC now I believe.....but soon.....

Bout to start with Baldur's Gate 2, I hope it can fill the hole left by Dark Souls

dood taught me this neat trick to play awesome footsies with a ps2/3 analog controller.

So what are your flappybird scores?

lol yeah I generally play w/ a fightpad.

I should prob learn to use a stick better sometime.

I use sticks for shmups and pads for fighties.

Personally I kind of wish I played pad a bit more. I think it's a bit easier doing special moves, but I need the space to press buttons for combos n stuff.


Anyways...with a ps2/3 controller you can hold back(with the analog) and walk forward using the dpad. So when playing footsies, you are able to quickly react and block/walk back. Kind of takes a step out of reacting and allows you more time to counter. I was getting my ass whooped when he was doing this. I would try doing Elena's slide from max distance an he(Ken) just had to stop walking forward, which made him immediately walk back just enough to get out of range if my slide and counter with stand RH.

RTW barbarian invasions, vh/vh, as the western romans, and the huns just arrived to salona!

I can't wait to start playing it again. I've been playing it every now and then on PS3, but I really can't handle the lag. The confirms are already hard enough as it is for that game and the extra frames of lag just make everything(linking and confirming) much harder. Anyways...I've been rocking Hibiki, Sakura(will probably be changing soon for Sagat), and Iori....on P groove because I've been playing 3s way to much and have the worst habit of pressing forward when I see an attack coming.
