I love to listen to their interviews, because they were bonkers, and had so different accents between the US slang of the Deal sisters and the UK Cockney (or whatever it is) accent of Josephine Wiggs. I tried to give it a chance the other day because it features Sharon Van Etten, Circuit des Yeux, Alice Bag, Grouper... but I couldn't even finish track 1. Those vocals, man...

They’ve been at it, man. I don’t love everything they’ve made — the deeply unsettling stuff is just a bit much — but the new album is pretty (relatively) poppy. Also, their Twin Peaks tribute record was great.

wow i just found their abundant discography and i had no idea. i saw them touring for fabulous muscles i think: a whole lotta screaming.

so what are your favorite albums by them? i don't have time to listen to all 14 or however many.

(i saw in the track list of their latest they have a collaboration with greg saunier so i'm looking forward to that either way)
