Deluxe GOO Mastering Question

Have an unopened CD of original Geffen GOO release....is mastering sonically different than deluxe? Worth a listen?
Are liner notes/art on original CD all in deluxe booklet...

i don't know anything about the deluxe, but the og booklet folds out into a poster if you're into that
