Local late 70s/early 80s efficiency and design goofball masterpiece, the HMV Freeway. I would love to have one of these, especially the electric version:

Whatever.
That car looks like a running shoe. |
When in doubt, I tend to employ the old Bridget Bardot Test method. If it looks like BB might've been prepared to step from St Tropez beach into it, I like it.

I can understand what you mean if you're from the States, but on this side of the water it's a different story. Anyway, I adore the shape of the Lancia Beta/Montecarlo. Nice and square. No rounded corners. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Speaking of rounded cars. Here's another beauty I'd love to own.

My bandmate had one of those Volvo p1800s. I love those. Love the wagon version, even.
I would totally roll in a messerschmitt kr200 or a BMW Isetta. A lot of three-wheeled cars are ugly as fuck though, and yes, they are sort of dangerous, but I still like them for some reason. Single wheel MUST be in the rear though. I second the mention of Lancias. Excellence. |
This thread is fucking awesome.
