Local late 70s/early 80s efficiency and design goofball masterpiece, the HMV Freeway. I would love to have one of these, especially the electric version:

Whatever.
That car looks like a running shoe.

demonrail666 08.20.2007 12:07 PM

When in doubt, I tend to employ the old Bridget Bardot Test method. If it looks like BB might've been prepared to step from St Tropez beach into it, I like it.

I can understand what you mean if you're from the States, but on this side of the water it's a different story.

Anyway, I adore the shape of the Lancia Beta/Montecarlo.
Nice and square. No rounded corners.

Tokolosh 08.21.2007 03:27 AM

Speaking of rounded cars. Here's another beauty I'd love to own.
The one and only VW Karmann Ghia.

PAULYBEE2656 08.21.2007 06:29 AM

plus mustangs are crap to drive... americans dont have twisty roads therefore american cars dont have much steering or handling or even suspension!

jico. 08.21.2007 07:40 AM

i'm not a ferrari boy, but his one should be mentioned.

jico. 08.21.2007 08:16 AM

Tokolosh 08.21.2007 08:48 AM

I'm sure that mustangs have had power steering since it was first introduced?
Obviously, most classic cars don't.

Word! You wouldn't catch me dead in any of these three wheelers.

Plastic deathtraps with the ugliness of croc shoes.

a giant pencil sharpener! on wheels!

Savage Clone 08.21.2007 06:10 PM

My bandmate had one of those Volvo p1800s. I love those. Love the wagon version, even.

I would totally roll in a messerschmitt kr200 or a BMW Isetta. A lot of three-wheeled cars are ugly as fuck though, and yes, they are sort of dangerous, but I still like them for some reason. Single wheel MUST be in the rear though.

I second the mention of Lancias.
Excellence.
