You call someone darling in whitechapel and you're dead.

Hip Priest 10.07.2006 09:38 AM

That's exactly what my friend Sandy said this morning.

porkmarras 10.07.2006 09:40 AM

Does she live in whitechapel?

Hip Priest 10.07.2006 09:41 AM

He, dearie, he. Sandy's all man, I assure you. And I should know.

I haven't the faintest idea. In fact, all this typing is making me feel faint. I might have to have a lie down.

Have you heard the old radio comedy 'Round the Horne'? It features two characters called Julian and Sandy, one of them played by Kenneth Williams. It's often on BBC Radio 7.

Pookie 10.07.2006 09:50 AM

My avatar beat you to it, HP.

porkmarras 10.07.2006 09:50 AM

I love it when you read on fashion magazines stuff like:'Oh she moved into Chelsea from the country and had to change her 'Total Sharon' looks'.haha

Pookie 10.07.2006 09:50 AM

Have a vada.

Hip Priest 10.07.2006 09:51 AM

I think i might have read of it somewhere but no,i don't know it.I'll check it out if only 'cause Kenneth Williams is in it.

Pookie 10.07.2006 09:52 AM

Julian & Sandy got away with the filthiest material using Polari. Hence, haven't you got some dirty dishes to do? (dish=anus)

Pookie 10.07.2006 09:54 AM

And my favourite, 'I've Got Brown Horrocks on my extension'.
