I had to take a catheder once...it was the most painful shit ever.
One time my ex was bitching about her period, and I was like "Hey at least you don't have prostatitis and have to feel like you have to take a piss 24/7" and I've had this for like, 5 months because canadian health care is terrible. She said that she'd rather have it because it's not painful. Like I can understand that periods probably suck really bad, but it's just that she said she'd rather have a disease that can result in....amputation than 4 days of pain.

try the reflexology point-- there is a spot in your achilles TENDONS that if you massage will temporarily relieve the cramps. it's usually on one side or another not both. it will feel painful but keep massaging. i swear it works (i'm not a chick, btw, but a serial monogamist, so i know this shit).

then there are some herbal things you can take-- cramp bark & other shit. help too.

and if all fails i believe a muscle relaxant could give pharmaceutical punch to your attempts to stop the pain.

but try the pressure point thing before you intoxicate yourself with meds...
