The trick is to come up with band names that can be searched on google to ONLY bring up your band's name. When I came up with "Scissor Shock" and "RUINHORSE"... well, look... nothing comes up except things related to those bands. As for Robe., a bunch of bullshit (usually related to WoW) comes up in google, but I made sure and added the period at the end to make it more distinct and important-sounding.

1) Google searches don't influence the fact that a band name might be original yet not very good.
2) So many of those billions of words don't stick well together when combined, so the infinite possibilities theory is a debatable thing.

A band's name doesn't really make the band, anyway. Nirvana didn't have an original name, Sonic Youth don't have a good one (personal opinion) etc.

Google indicates that Anti-Climacus hasn't been taken.

If anyone wants to form an apocalyptic folk, I think that might work.

Neither of those are good names. I don't want to be a cunt, so I'm saying this in the context that Sonic Youth is one of the worst names I can think of. My only real rule of band names is that any band featuring the word 'jazz' in their name is automatically shit, regardless of the quality of the music.

Yes, wolves are shit when it comes to band names. Take Wolf Eyes. Wolves have shit eyes and they're passive-aggressive cunts. Or Aids Wolf, for example. Aids Squirrels sounds better.

My band's name is Poliomyelitis Me Over In The Clover

I like the idea of a band name beginning with 'The'. There's a certain sobriety to it. Mostly though I like band names that feel like almost no thought has gone into it. Off the top of my head, The Envelopes is a good solid name for a group.

Mine's Jesus and Mary's Mother's Temple. Our albums include ''Confusion is Rob(e).''.
