What is this shit? Everyone has pretenses. A pretense, without the negative connotation, is merely an assumption taken as truth in order from greater reasoning to develop. If a person didn't have pretenses, they would have to logically explain every action they perform, all premises and premises of premises laid out. You are pretentious for waking up in the morning.
