no man, I'm 17. But I never had a girlfriend untill last year, and we're still together. But maybe one day she'll dump me, and I'll understand what all the fuss is about, and mabye then I'll even get the meanings of those Jeff Buckley songs:D

yeah, i guess that would be a form of broken heart, but nah, never tried it. Only form of heart-pain I've ever felt was loneliness, but that's bad enough.

That's not heartbreak, that's irrepressible hormones.

In my experience, the only effective strategy is to find something else to do. Just have fun. It's possible. Don't deny it, but occupy yourself and teach yourself how to enjoy life again. Go out, go to concerts, go to/rent movies, buy some CD's or something, find a new hobbie. My girlfriend and I of 1 1/2 years broke up a couple months ago. It sucks more than anything. But you'll never get over it unless you find something to be happy about.

And if you're depressed about it, drinking makes it worse. It pauses recovery.

I am very perked by everybody's response. it's exactly the type of response that i knew would come from the sonic love partners of mine. a flood of ideas that don't really say what is written, but rather. "thinking of you in some fashion" and i don't mean disco. so i'm already cracking jokes, but i don't feel any better overall.

Have you tried walking on the coast with sandals, red shorts, a muscle-t and a constipated frown yet?
