I spent Monday in AUSTIN TX with a delegation from the University of Houston (300 strong) where we met with state senators and representatives as advocates for the University. awesome politics.

Here is me and my team with one of the representatives we met with to discuss higher education funding and such.

tons. quite a day. we had over 200 students, staff, faculty, and alumni, as well as the Board of Regents, the President of UH, etc.

oh, badass! yay for band geeks. man. i miss marching band sometimes.
