wasn't planning on it. T2 is a great film. But the rest of the series. Meh. |
i just kept thinking to myself, whens bale going to put his mask on and jump off a tall building etc.
sure the effects are very impressive but the cheese and the story where too much for me and even the most resolute misanthrope would laugh at the ending. |

GG Allin's Funeral - Punks take a video camera to GG Allins funeral, play with the body and then jump in the grave with him. An appropriate send off for sure.

You sadist! (actually I've only seen the original, so for all I know maybe this remake is all Hollywood-happy-ending-and-all) |
Too many good films recommended on here, wish i had an extra day per week to watch them all.
Cat's Piss Watched that one earlier! |

that's why I loved it. I really like kinda "heavy" movies when actors are good in them. |

You pussy! |
watch it, you'll love it too!
yours sadist pussy |
I probably will, somewhere in the next 10 years.
I'm usually pretty far behind when it comes to watching movies and remakes (regardless of who the director is) don't have any priority. |

Do you mean Cat Piss, the Giuseppe Andrews short? My buddy sinkholed uploaded that to youtube recently. It's one of his lesser films (of the 24 I've seen) but it's still really good. |
Quote:
me too, it's so great. I've said it before, I liked the remake better. |
favorite scene from a giuseppe film:

Great film! Tarkovsky is a genius. I've seen them all. Stalker has to be my favorite one of the seven. |

when I was working at the cinema last year, some guy took his 5/6 year old daughter to see this. My workmate and I were so tempted to ask him wtf... |
perhaps she was not his daughter..........ha!
or he told her : that's what happens if you don't behave! |
![]() 8/10, one of the funniest movies I've seen in a while. |

I don't think you'll regret it. Still haven't seen any of Mikhail Romm's films. Apparently, he was Tarkovsky's mentor. This one sounds interesting: Nine Days in One Year ![]() Anyone seen it? |
the tenant. have not seen it in a while and its a goody.
|
semi OT
what's the name of that movie with guys in bunkers who have to press a button to save the earth (coz it's being attacked by some alien invasion and whatnot and if humans lose they want to blow everything up) and everything blows up if no one press the button in none of the bunkers? no, I'm not talking about Lost and that counter thingy. |
Hmm. I was thinking of Kin Dza Dza with the button and alien thing but not sure about the bunkers and explosions. Hmm.
See if any of these ring a bell: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alien_Movies |
Thanks mr cooley but it's just an old memory of mine, I mean, I must have watched this when I was really young or something, no idea on the possible original title, not even the "translated one" (remember, whe have renamed/dubbed movies on tv here) :( :(.
|
Ah yeah... I had an old memory of a film and I wrote to http://www.joebobbriggs.com/ftf/findthatflick.html and he found out the movie I was thinking of. It was a Stephen King-based movie.. I thought for sure there were soul sucking camels in it but someone wrote in and said it was cat people. You could write in there and he'll probably get you the answer.

I hardly step foot outside this place on the internet, I'm too shy.
