yeah, i-ve met tons of cool cab drivers, but there's always that sub-species of twats who try to hustle you. "ohhh, i'm not familiar with this area, do you know how to get there? or we could ask around?"

and then, when you tell them what roads to take (because you know the place for more years than they have been living there) they go "ahh, it doesn't look good, maybe i should turn the other way".

and for the grand final "hey man! where's my tip? i had to drive you very far and lost many clients for you!"

Earlier in the summer me and my friend's had a plan to go on a ten day canoe trip in bum fuck nowhere.

Unfortunately that plan was scratched, but we were lucky enough to have anew one hatch.

Now we're going sailing and camping out. It's only going to be a three day (two night) trip, but hell, it's better than fucking nothing haha. not to mention the people we'll be going on this trip with, are far less annoying than the people of the previously planned trip. The new people actually like outside hahah.

I'm going to one show with my old roommate, about a 2 hour drive and will probably go to another with a friend of mine about 3 hours away, that trip will probably include vodka and lots of awkwardness.

I try to stay away from all technology when alcohol is involved. Cell phones are enough trouble.
