Step Brothers.
It was really just ok... it had its ups but it also had too many downs... This movie seemed like something I would love but lo and behold... I didn;t... |
i still haven't seen the dark knight. 28 days later is playing in mccarren park tonight but i'm not going to sit on a slab of cement for that shit.
i just bought this and i'll probably watch it tonight. ![]() |
Stepbrothers didn't make me laugh one time.

I hate comedies for the most part, new ones especially. My friends made me see this and I did laugh once or twice, but overall it was beyond dumb. I laughed when the blonde woman said to one of the brothers that she wanted to curl him up and stick him in her vagina or something of the like. The last movie I watched was The Mighty Ducks. My friend (turning 20) wanted to watch it during her birthday. I thought Connie had a bigger part, but I guess not. It's all about Charlie and fuckface. |
That woman was the best part.
Well wait.. I liked that "sweet child of mine part"... I didn't think it was funny but it was entertaining. |

![]() I got tickets to a preview screening of this last night, it was pretty good. There's a hilarious scene where Hellboy and Abe get drunk. |

The Great Escape. Steve McQueen, et al.
It's really interesting how in all those old Nazi POW camp movies they make it look like everybody's living in some Boy Scout camp. Man, according to the movie, they had it nice--I wouldn't want to escape. |

Yeah, it seems like a resort. Just, you can't leave. Good movie though. Papillon really has the grimey, prison colony/camp look. Steve McQueen spends a lot of time in "the cooler" too. |

Haven't seen Papillion. Yeah, the Germans are so nice. They only fire warning shots, and they even let these guys grow gardens!? What the fuck kind of soft-assed place were they running? McQueen was definitely cool, though. |

![]() Interesting to know what went on in Miami at the time. |
In the beginning of The Great Escape, the camp commander tells the men to behave and wait out the war with him. And I would be like: Okay, so you'll feed me, put a roof over my head, let me shower whenever I want, hang out and play cards with a bunch of my mates, let me grow gardens and play ball and go to the library and whatever the fuck else, even make my own liquor... all the while a war rages outside. Okay, yeah, I'll stay here, thanks!

Papillon is good. Sort of depressing though. Not the coolness of tunnel digging. Just torture and forced-labor. |
Yeah, that sounds too real.
