Goddamnit Neptune were so fucking good
|
did you bootlegged it?
|
my brother tried to, but i don't think it'll turn well
it was so loud at a moment they did a huge crescendo and at one point i was like "they can't even play louder than that", yet they did - and they added ultra high frequencies to it it was far more experimental than i would have expected - and that, for the best. It was like a big sonic magma, with harsh noise distortion and infrabasses everywhere, that would go on for minutes and minutes, and then sometimes insane melodies would get off the chaos and noisy trances would ensue. The contrast between the kid toys (they even had a circuit-bended Teletubbies) and the abrasiveness of the performance (they also had tv screens which played images filmed live, which were over distorded) was particulary insane |
hol shit, that sounds like a hell of a concert.
really it sounds like it was outstanding!!! they played today? on a wednesday? thats even more fucked, hahahaha |
yep they played today :D
the venue itself was great it's some kind of center for artists the room is the basement of an old factory. it's like two meters high, i almost touched the roof (i'm around 1m80). also there's no stage, the band plays straight on the ground, on the same leevl as the public |
sounds like an almost same environment when I saw the yeah yeah yeahs the first two times. around 80 to 100 people, the stage at the same level as the ret of the room. it was like they were playing in an apartment. those concerts can be really really cool!
