You know, besides Demon Souls and Dark Souls, batman was the only real Action game that I played in a long while ever since Metal Gear SOlid 4(and that was 09?). No matter what they can implement in the game, the game most of the time ends up being the same thing as every other 3d action game. and the only reason why i played batman, was realy because 1. it was free and 2. they had the original voice actors from the Animated series, which....is the best form of batman I've experienced. |
that's the other thing -- I'm not really a fan of Batman in general. I mean. I like some of the movies or whatever. But it's not something I'm "into" so there's that too.
|
Unless one isn't a fan of superheroes n stuff, I really can't see why Batman isn't at the top of anyone's superhero list. He's completely HUMAN!
|
he's ok. I was never a huuuge comic book dude. And the ones I read were primarily Marvel. But gimme TMNT over any of that shit any day of the week.

Fuck yeah. Mirage >> Marvel/DC easy. |
What did you think of the 1st Devil May Cry, noise?

Issue #8 of the first Turtles series is one of the best comics ever.

Anyway, to go back on track:
![]() I'm not too sure how to feel about this entry in the Myst series, which is one of my favorite series ever. Technically its as beautiful as any of the games are like to get, but it also retcons the first game out of existence, which is a real bummer. The puzzles are fine but far from the best they've ever been and vary wildly in difficulty. Some can be solved by accident, while others you can figure out right away, but can be tedious to actually solve, the particular example I'm thinking of being one where you have to learn the alphabet of another language. Either way, it's still interesting, so that's good. |

It is pretty awesome. A little clunky at times, but a blast to play overall - especially with a friend! I've never seen/heard anyone else ever talking about the game however. Neat, that you've played it! |

![]() SEGA Superstar Tennis (Wii) and... ![]() |
^ lulz.
one thing I have to say is that ANY! and I do mean ANY! tennis games are fun as fuck. |
I agree. Tennis games are usually excellent, especially when playing locally against a friend. It's a simple, tried and true concept (Pong) that can really lead for some intense, heated moments. Even playing against a PC can become completely absorbing.
But SEGA Superstars Tennis on the Wii is especially cool - you wouldn't believe how much motion controls can add to a game like this, and they play excellently. Oh, and check out the roster! *spoilers in pic* ![]() It's absolutely beautiful! Each character also gets their own special power move that they build up towards by playing well, similar to Mario Power Tennis, yet with surprisingly less tiresome animations. Then you've got the themed courts (CURIEN MANSION!!!!), and a whole bunch of SEGA-themed missions/mini-games (*cough* even Puyo Puyo/Space Harrier *cough*) that you play where you turn the Wiimote sideways like an NES/SMS controller to unlock characters/alternative music/new courts/missions/etc. It's just so cool man. Oh yeah, and I've been playing around in Billy Hatcher, which is a lot more fun than I remember it being! lol ![]() |
^if you have a GBA and link cable there's tons of mini games you can play on GBA liek an exclusive version of NiGHTS.
|
Oh. I'm well aware, guy.
