ah what i have forgotten , never understood why people call nirvana a pop band ? it´s pure punk. maybe the butch van vig mixing has given the record a more poppy sound but listen to live versions it´s pure punk

Punk is just fast pop music.

pop punk certainly is.

They call them a pop band because they had hooks.

They were a punk band with good songwriting.

It's loosely pop.

Really, more rock n roll than punk or pop in my opinion.

50s 60s rock and roll ethics with less muscianship and a less optomistic, fun timey vibe as early rock.

That's why I dug it at least.
