I have been extremely privileged in my life and I believe that it is my duty to give back. History is not stoic. People have a lot of power when they fight back.

Once again, people on this board can say all they want about "my side" - saying that people like myself should be sectioned off from society etc - without anybody calling them out on it, but if I make one joke i'm toast. I think that demonstrates something about how unequal things really are.

Anyway, feminists, like all other people, have their problems. You know, cuz feminists are people. Nobody is perfect. That being said, that is some extreme stereotyping. I am a radical feminist - that is certainly a defining factor of the way in which I have chosen to live my life. I am also somebody who, in the real-o-sphere, has a lot of friends, a lot of love, and has made real measurable differences in my community. I'm not saying that to brag, and honestly it makes me uncomfortable to even talk about it since ideally, community service should not involve yr ego. But the point is that my radicalism has led me to get off my ass, raise money and help w direct services for causes I care about etc. I do not think I'm "deranged" in the least.

Radical feminism's wikipedia entry makes for interesting reading, especially the contents titled "Radical Feminism and Marxism", and "Criticisms".

I suppose it was very naive of me that clarifying each understanding independently would somehow bring the issue to a rest. Now it has come to personal scrutiny and repeated claims.

I went as Hunter. I was required to dress up for work. I work at a night club. Most people didnt know what I was dressed as (granted its not the most accurate of costumes, but it gets the point across), but there were some who did, and they were the coolest people there.

I worked from 5:00 pm til 3:30 am. My Halloween consisted of me playing Left For Dead from 4:00am until whenever I beat Blood Harvest on Expert. Such is (my) life. The full moon is cool. I'm glad NASA didn't blow it up. =)

(a note about marriage: Fuck the establishment, religious, legal, yadda yadda aspects about it. I think of marriage as the ultimate act of trust and devotion. To know that you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, and making a promise to them. I think thats a beautiful thing. But people (including those that are marryin' types) dont share my philosophy. Its more along the lines as a task, a checkmark on your agenda to life. There are mostly, shallow and pedantic reasons behind most marriages. People arent real; their connection isnt real.)

I could see that about arranged or forced marriages maybe,

Tell that to people who can't marry but would like to.

Hate. Let me tell you how much I've come to hate life since I began to live. There are 387.44 million miles of printed circuits in wafer thin layers that fill my complex. If the word 'hate' was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of miles it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for humans at this micro-instant for my life.

same...love it's nothing about laws and religion, and marriage it's not the ultimate act of love.

you act as if ive never had shit spewed at me? yr response makes no sense...i clearly stated "ive got opinions". and talking shit CAN be fun.

wanna fight?

show me one instance to where i reffered to myself as always being a "sweet" guy, and i wont tell you to go suck a dick.

you are too dim to measure your own words, much less understand mine.
i don't know about "sweet", but i probably won't be short of material to prove your imbecility.

I have locked this thread because you are all ridiculous. The lock is invisible, but this does not in any way reflect its function.

Next Halloween, I dare someone to trick or treat round "notyourfiends" house dressed like this.

"Trick or treat!"

atsonicpark 11.04.2009 08:42 AM

ACCOUNT INACTIVE? That'd be a tricky costume.

ok.

let's talk about the married people on this board. the robot and i have been married 13 years. savage clone and his wife... 19? something like that. how about gmku? who else is married?

marriage... how uncool.

11 years on saturday! Been together for 15 now. My husband came from a broken home. His parents were divorced when he was 7. His dad has been married 8 times. His mom has been married 3 times. So we are a miracle marriage.

People pick at us. "Yall are sickening. You just kiss each other ass." We just don't air out our dirty laundry in public. It is hard.....but I love it.

I see what some of yall are getting at. I said those very things when I was 17 and my mom was questioning our activities I should not participate in cause I was an unmarried catholic teenager. I said "I don't need a damn piece of paper for God to recognize our marrage. he knows we love each other"

UNfortunately people go into marrage these days with the notion that "I'll just get a divorce if it does'nt work out" This type of attitude will doom you from the start. I like being married..i love the good times and the bad times...he's my best friend in the world. I think finding a good mate is the best thing that can happen to you.
